Best pub to drink at before the game..

Was wondering what were peoples opinions on which pub is the best to drink in before the game?

Never been there, is there a good atmos in there?

Only been to the Potters, POW and a Weatherspoons type place by a hotel, cant think of the name.

Now im legal for a drink will be the best ones!

The Duke of Clerence is perfect. If its raining fair play to Eric the Landlord he takes you to the game in his minibus. After the game back for more of the same watching the 5 o'clock live game. Jukebox then on playing all the regular favourates.

used to go there, our asian friends did a roaring trade last year, while millwall were being escorted through town

The Cornwall is shit between October-March because its to small and has a ridiculous layout with about 3ft between the bar and the wall in the one part with people streaming past. The other side of the room is ok, but as I said, to small in winter.

Summer is ok as said above can stand outside.

The Neville is ok, as its quieter.

Id rather give Canton a wide berth, the Goscombe is ok I suppose but again, when the crowds are coming or theres a live game on its a nightmare.

Thumbs up to the Rommily though and for anyone who wants a quiet pint from a Glass, I highly recomend.

For the reasons mentioned above, I always drink in town, Sams Bar, Great Western, GateKeeper, POW, Queens Vaults, O'Neils and Yate's used to be ok aswell before it shut.

Id rather Booze in town and then get a cab down to the ground at about 2.40 any day of the week.
