this message board is starting to become pathetic.
there are so many good, respected posters on this forum and after reading AHERNE's thread, it's sad to see someone like him leave the board due to so many dickheads on this message board.
i agree that posters shouldn't take things too serious even if the other person is joking or not, but this is starting to go too far.
the arguing and bitching on some of the threads on this board is looking more and more like ccmb.
Posters complaining to moderators every day and it's laughable to be honest.
I really couldn't care less if people want to try and act big and target me after this thread because i know who i get on with on here and after so many away trips with the same faces last season, it's only their opinions and thoughts i could care about really.
i think when the season starts things will get better on here but i'm talking about NOW and quite frankly it's becoming a message board that i'm only enjoying with certain posters.

should have a section for decent posters u have to have done over a certain amount of posts to view or by invite only so we dont get all the idiots posting in this section

So who are the dickheads then ? Aherne was criticized for being a tad hypocritical when he posted the Christianity post. But i like Aherne and have had many a good discussion / debate with him. We very rarely agree but we remained friendly. But it was a discussion that went pear shaped because one side was not happy, a lot of posters disagreed with them. Then the thread was deleted and the moderators made out that certain posters was to blame for everything as they were racist which i totally disagree with because none of those posters were. But its very easy to label someone something on here when you have the power to lock or delete posts.
So it was mentioned about the dickhead posters, if you are going to do that then name them

Having a members members section will then grant exlusivity, and how would you define who goes in and who stays out? There are A LOT of good posters, and a few annoying ones.

nukes, when i mentioned "dickheads" i was referring to some of the nobody's that put in the sly comment. i think a few weeks ago i had one or two but obviously there's a few more that i personally haven't had a problem with but some other posters have.
there are also a few "respected" posters as well such as....bridgend bluebird and dafydd.
i'm just going to leave it go until the season starts because maybe we're all missing the football season like phil said and some of us (me) are getting cheesed off at little things.

Whatever your thoughts are on a certain subject is fine, this includes pretty much everything.

Constructive debates are fine on any given subject IMO, its when it gets abusive and personal that people take offence.

AHERNE took offence to a subject ie Racism, and then did exactly the same thing with his words about Christianity.

Like I said before, and this is the final say from me, I hope he comes back, he seemed a good lad, but this time practices what he preached.

Best post in this thread. It is easy to generalise by making a sweeping statement about 'dickheads' etc but who are they? Just because someone has a different opinion to the accepted view does that make them a dickhead?

If these things are to be said then I fully agree with Nukes that the individuals should be named. That way those who have behaved properly are not tarred with the same brush and secondly those individuals who are named have the right to reply, by either explaining their comments or even appologising.
