Anyway, what I know so far as I understand it Cardiff Directors have made an improved final compensation offer to Watford, which seems very tempting to Laurence Bassini. He called an immediate meeting to discus the terms offered. It is looking very likely that Mackay will join the bluebirds as he has clearly stated his interest in the position to the Watford board. Playing the waiting game now, as meetings continue to be held. Bassini has said to other directors that this needs to be settled ASAP so that Watford can also arrange a new manager to rebuild their squad also.

There should be more advances in discussions by this evening.
