I am Stunned by the Decision to have Alan Shearer as Our New manager, BUT WE HAVE TO ALL GIVE HIM OUR 100% SUPPORT, REMEMBER SHEARER IS AN ENGLAND LEGEND, SO NO MORE ANTI ENGLAND SONGS

Ccmb, very negative! I say give him a chance. Coaching staff will be very important

I think whoever was named people would moan. I think it's the fact this one come out Of the blue and people don't know what to think.
Our fans are fickle, a few wins and he will be a legend, few losses and he should be sacked. Time
Will tell on this one.

Agree - if by any chance Hughton is appointed no.2 we might be in with a decent shout of going up given the right signings !
Tue Jun 14, 2011 9:36 pm
i am 100% against his appointment but what will be, will be.
If he flops I will be proved right.
If he is successful I will be proved wrong and happily so.
In the meantime, he will get my full backing unless he starts doing idiotic things like Jones.

TBH makes me sick that people are already slagging him off before hes even been appointed.. Im givin him my full backing. been sayin to put yes its a risk but it can be a risk that pulls off. he will have alot of contacts so could be the right decsion.. would love it if he got us promated then people will shut up
Bellamy will be back aswell - im confident like every season
Tue Jun 14, 2011 9:36 pm
First few signings and games will be very important.
For all that happened at Newcastle, he has never been in charge during a transfer window

Think it would be an excellent choice to bring in Hughton as his number 2
If there is not a job out there for hughton I could really see him coming here

Annis i think shearer will do a great job the board will have to back him with sum hard cash hope Given is his first signing.

DEF Give Shearer a Chance and OUR FULL SUPPORT

I am shocked, and I don't think it was the right decision for our club, but for auxialary reasons.
However, I will give him my support. However, if he follows the example of his predecessor in terms of having a poor relationship with the fans, then that might change
Tue Jun 14, 2011 9:41 pm
I think the problem is that we are all stunned. I didnt even give Shearer a second thought and now out of nowhere he is set to become our new manager. He wouldnt be my first choice thats for sure, but i will support him and the boys all the way. I hope he can strike up a good relationship with us fans, prove any doubters such as myself wrong and take us to auto promotion. Will be a tough job in his first permanent full time job however.

Whoeva is appointed will be given a chance . Howeva questions have gorra be asked . After 2 weeks of deliberation with an array of talented & hungry managers available why are we apparently gonna choose a guy with a managerial record of P8 W1 D2 L5 ??? It beggars belief ? Are the Malaysians fit to run our club ??? Our hands are tied & I don't farkin like it. Tomorrow has to be April 2nd surely !!??

Yes our owners are fit to the run the club, they are singloe handedly keeping us going and given us fans some hope for another season. Worst case scenario Shearer gets sacked! Buts lets back him at least!

If Shearer is gonna be on 1million, then that's the minimum we'd have to pay if we had to sack him. And I don't think we can afford that.

I have said on many occasions to those fans who wanted Dave Jones out to be careful what you wish for. My opinion was and still is that getting rid of Dave Jones will result in us having manager after manager over the next 4 or 5 seasons as manager after manager fail. I won't be booing the manager or the players whatever happens but let's hope I am proved wrong and have to eat humble pie and that Shearer or whoever is the new manager turns out to be a good appointment. I just have that horrible feeling that I won't be proved wrong and the sacking of Dave Jines will be the start of our drop down the table or even worse down to Division 1 (or Division 3 as I still regard it) in the next few seasons.

I not stunned Annis I said there may be a surprise and just for the record I am happy the man has come to us we have to support him 8 GAMES with Newcastle which everyone is on about .You cant judge 8 games at the end of a season managing a sinking ship come on.i agree we have to support him 100% well he has my support.
By the way who put the ball in the english net halfa f**king Europe.

Shearer was a legend as a player committed and kept his mouth shut and didnt have a chip on his shoulder unlike bellemy

I believe he would command the respect of any player and improve any players skill and commitment but i fear for his obvious lack of managerial experience and things will probably get worse before getting better, But footballs a funny old game as even Raffa Benitez can win trophies and he is a prize tool.
I’m just shocked at this appointment if it comes off as it’s a big gamble and could peg us back for another couple of seasons if it goes tits up.

Cos half our fans don't have a f*cking clue about football and didn't start following Cardiff until Sam came.
They never saw Al in his prime.
The only player in Prem history to carry a team on his own to win the title.
World class in Euro 1996.
15 millon pound transfer.
Worked with legends like Bobby Robson, Keegan and King Kenny.
He is a born winner and doesn't take any shit.
He won't take any shit from the board. He will run things.
