" PLEASE HONEST OPINIONS " VERY IMPORTANT
IF CRAIG BELLAMY COULD PLAY TOMORROW NIGHT, But then it could mean Bells Might not be fit to play in the Final What would you do if YOU WERE DJ ?
I WOULD PLAY BELLS and then Solve that problem once were there.
Same with Tom Heaton, the Situation is exactly the same and My Answer is exactly the same.

Agree with both - go with Bellamy and Heaton
Mon May 16, 2011 2:22 pm
Me too, if we don't play them we might not get to the final
Mon May 16, 2011 2:23 pm
No point saving them for tge final if we dont get there.......both gotta play!
Mon May 16, 2011 2:24 pm
No brainer both players got to play what ever happens happens

Really all depends on how Bellamy is feeling (just said on SSN that they're gonna be an update on his condition soon) He knows how big the game was on friday night and didn't hesitate to come off after a tweak in the 16th minute, I think DJ will ask bellers if he can play and he'll have final say, we all know he's the first name on the sheet.
I think we should stick with Bywater..
EDIT: DJ Just said on SSN, the decision is pretty much all down to Bellers if he plays or not.

He as got to play if fit this game is important we may not make the final if Bellers doesn't play.

Unless Heaton is 100% we should stay with Bywater, even though he looked very dodgy on Friday. If Bellamy feels good then he has to play. All this talk about it possibly ruining his Wembley appearance is rubbish. If he doesn't play we might not make it to Wembley! Let's get there first and then see who we have available.

Zabier.
Heaton is Def Not 100% So maybe I am wrong to want to play him.

Just watched DJ's interview and saw shots of them training, Bellamy is out there, and DJ said it will be left until the last minute, myself, I really think Craig will play
Mon May 16, 2011 2:42 pm
I'd play Bellamy and Heaton.
Bellamy will give us that extra boost.
Bywater is a bit too dodgy in my opinion.
Can't save them for the final if we don't get there first.

What about hudson? do we chuck him straight back in? or keep the back 4 the same as on friday?
Mon May 16, 2011 2:47 pm
i think they would have to play. if there are doubts over injuries during the game then bring them off..by then they may have put in a good shift so we couldn't complain. but we also have to be aware that playing some players tomorrow may rule them out for wembley and leave us short which will be gutting.

WE held them at there place without bellers, so at our place we should see them off, I would put him on the bench ,but try not to play him. If lost a big gun in the final s befoe, lets not chance it again, Keep him on the bench ,and keep him for the finals. He will be so fired up you wont keep his feet down with a 6 inch nail.

Bellers Not Heaton
Heaton cost us big time against Middlesborough

Play Bellamy tomorrow or we aint going to get to the final he would have 2 weeks rest then

i think we can win with out him but would help with him on the pitch

I think the Bellamy situation is a really tricky one. Initially I was all for him playing tomorrow on the basis that we might not get to the final otherwise. However there is also the case that if he was to breakdown early tomorrow that could have a "downer" affect on the crowd and the team would could be counter-productive.
I do think DJ is handling this one absolutely right. Scans can tell you only so much, ultimately once you've seen the scans and they indicate that he could play only the player will know how it actually feels.
One thing I would say, Bellers, above anyone else, deserves to play at Wembley and I would be gutted if we got there and he couldn't play

Perhaps the others should use that as a bit of extra motivation if he doesn't start tomorrow

Let Bellamy decide for himself. If he can't play 90 minutes, then start him on the bench, then see how the game is going. Heaton really does need to be 100% fit, and mobile. He looked the business at Preston, but has been a bit slow to move when not 100%. As others have said, we're not at Wembley yet. If we play tomorrow with one or two who are not fit, we may well be caught out.

If Verheijen says he's not worth risking then he's not worth risking, it's that simple.
Verheijen's word is far more important to me than anyone else's in this situation.

im with this
start with him on the bench and if everything is going ok leave him on the bench.
if we are in the shit then we have to take a chance for the last 20 minutes.
Mon May 16, 2011 3:35 pm
Heaton was shit awful against Boro because he wasn't fit. So it has to be Bywater
Bellamy he has to play as you said Annis if he wants to play let him if in his own mind he isn't ready then Chopra will have to step up. If we were confident of brushing aside Reading then i would say rest him , but we are not
Mon May 16, 2011 3:43 pm
bywater did pretty good against reading, fair play to him
