I know what you're saying geez but the board know what he's done for the club in just 13 months, compare that to DJ's 6 years & it brings home what an amazing job he's done.

Sounds like Colin giving himself the dreaded vote of confidence there Stan but he does deserve the chance to mess it up no doubt about that.

I'll give him to the October International break and he'll be out on his arse, just a feeling I've got. ;)

No chance Castle.

Very big changes at QPR this week at the top & the players being targeted are more than enough to make us a decent side & at the same time keep NW in his job. Absolutely no doubts about that.

Mittal has stated his desire to keep Warnock as has Bernie & Neil himself but if its not enough for people to be convinced so be it I guess. :ayatollah:

Don't misunderstand me Stan he has done a brilliant job this season but get the wrong fixtures to start the first 8 weeks and I think he will be under pressure.

Just a feeling :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Any word on players being released Stan I think I read somewhere Routledge has signed but what about players being released, any good ones on a Bosman. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Totally see what you're saying & you are right but as I say the players I've heard we are targeting are more than enough to make us a competitive side in the Premiership. Don't feel he will be under pressure as I know the board will back him 100%.

We will see ;)

The players names I heard this week that we are looking to offload are, Fitz Hall, Radek Cerny, Heidar Helguson, Patrick Agyemang, Jamie Mackie, Martin Rowlands, Lee Cook, Peter Vaagen Moen & possibly Bradley Orr

Go back 6 months & I'd of bitten your hand off, now? Never.

Hope we keep Mackie, don't think I've ever seen a player work as hard & chase every lost ball as much as Mackie does.

When Neil Warnock became manager of QPR it was backed by some of the richest men in the world. Everything was in place for them to go up when he joined.
Cardiff have been in financial turmoil for 5 of Dave Jones' 6 years in charge, and in that time he got us to a Play-Off final and an FA Cup Final. As well as that we have produced some damn fine players over that time and we've been forced to sell many of them.

I'm not saying Warnock hasn't done a good job at QPR, he has. I just feel comparing the two is a little pointless.

Must admit I was sceptical when we signed him as his record was relatively poor but after watching him up until his injury at Blackburn they're is so much more to his game & goals really are just a bonus.

He totally epitomises a Neil Warnock side with his gritty hard working never say die attitude. Not all about skills as you know. Every team needs a Mackie.

Wouldn't mind taking Bells off you're hands though :D

Jones-one of the highest paid managers in the country with big players not to mention a £15M Premiership star at his disposal & he still can't get you promoted?

People have this notion we bought our way up but those with knowledge know this is incorrect we have actually spent very little yet very wisely.

I bet if you took wages into account us & CCFC's budget would be very similar if not yours more than QPR's.

All down to top man management & a manager who can gel a team as well as galvanise the fans also. I don't feel you have anything like that with DJ in charge.

Personal opinion only.

For me there is one fundemental difference between Neil Warnock and Dave Jones.

Warnock will never accept defeat in any game while Jones thinks that you can lose games and still get promoted.

You tell me which one was right. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Correct

Or how about a manager that win lose or draw takes to the pitch at full time to punch his fists & applaud the fans, or a manager that backs his players no matter what, or a manager that will tear into any player or official if he sees something he doesn't like, pure passion.

Wouldn't swap Warnock for 10 Dave Jones'

I hope Dave Jones stays (for many more seasons to come) but with the stick he gets from some fans and the clowns in the local media I wouldn't blame him he does decide to leave.

I hope they dont sack warnock, any manager that gets their team promotion from the championship deserves a shot in the premier league, i include DJ in that if we were to get there. To sack NW would make QPR a right laughing stock!

Re: WARNOCK STAYING @ QPR-OFFICIAL!

Sun May 15, 2011 3:38 pm

I mentioned before that rumour was that Warnock was after a couple of ours and Swanseas players on the cheap with offer of premiership football (aint happening under DJ for sure) and big lucrative contracts. Seeing him at the first leg makes me even more sure of it. He isn't coming to us, but reckong he will pick and chose a few players we can ill afford to give up. Don't care if he screws up Swansea, but just hope that he doesn't start approaches before we have finished play offs.
