This is the same Neil Warnock who, when looking for an independent view on the points situation, spoke to the barrister employed by the club to defend them

Anyone who has dealt with lawyers will know that if you're paying them defend you, particularly in civil litigation like this, that they will always put a "positive" spin on things and they're still taking evidence today so the case isn't even finished

I think Mr Warnock should button his lip until the findings are made public then he, and everyone else, will know for sure ;)

I can understand youre selfishness morris. Not the way I'd want my team going up personally but like many others you would take promotion any which way which is totally fair enough.

What I will say though is that people have focused so much on the possibility of a points deduction & you boys slipping through the back door I think it will do you no favours. I'd say 1 million % focus should go on you're next 3-4 games & QPR shouldn't be a thought. Personal opinion only.

exactly what i think.,..

if i was DJ.. id put all the players in a hotel.. so they cant hear any of the news, and no mobile phones to be on, and not worry what has happened with the QPR situation and concentrate fully on the Burnley game, and righting wrongs from Monday..

They would have to anyway, otherwise it would not be 'innocent until proven guilty'. For them not to sanction it would almost indicate guilt before it has legally been proven. The fact that they have done this proves nothing. We are still having to wait until Friday.

However... by as much justification I would be a little worried if I were you. As it could still be a case of similar treatment as Swindon a number of years back. They did not deny their promotion but then subsequently relegated them. COuld be the case for QPR that they will 'promote' them as champions only to relegate them and place the third team up instead. Precedent has been set on this to preserve the integrity of the competition with decisions being made close to the finale of the season for offences committed much earlier.

Natman I maintain the same stance I have from the day the news broke, we are going up & this will not stop us.

I was told on the very day we were charged by someone at the VERY top at QPR 'we can answer all charges' and that has been good enough for me. The last 2 days has just reinforced my feelings that we will be OK. Nothing negative coming out only good. All the negativity is coming from the media & message boards.

You could be right Stan. If (and If) you are guilty of the charges it would be criminal not to face similar charges to teams in the past. If you are innocent then alls fair and square. But I think what you have said above could just as much indicate a punishment a la Swindon as to point that no charges at all will be brought.

Not a chance mate. Look at Swindon's rap sheet compared to QPR's alleged rap sheet & there is no comparison mate.

As I say all will be revealed tomorrow but I repeat as I have a million times on here we are champions & that will be acknowledged tomorrow morning.

I know no more than you but your comment is somewhat strange. You say there is nothing negative coming out apart from the press and message boards. Therefore the only source you have is for positive news is from your club and they're hardly likely to put out anything negative  The FA have made it clear that they ain't commenting until after the decision.

Whether you are right or wrong, unless you have a direct line to the tribunals chairman, you know no more than anyone else as to the actual outcome. Your assumptions may be proved right but they are based on information coming from one side of the argument and therefore are, at best, in with a 50/50 chance of being right.

To be honest I've only picked up on Swindon's stuff from reading on here. THe possible scenarios that would seem to be appearing though now are;

1) Innocent - a everything carries on as normal

2) Guilty - and the scenario I previously mentioned could occur

3) Points deduction - possible 15 points leaving QPR in the playoffs

I think either of the top two are just as likely if, as it would seem from your original post, that simply it would only appear reading between the lines that a points deduction is off the table. Not meaning to argue but I can see all three equally as likely and we're not going to know until tomorrow.

Also as said before everything would have to carry on as normal until the findings of the hearing are completed. Otherwise there would be accusations without foundation and things inferred etc

Nope I wouldn't be on a wind up at this time mate. Just had a text to expect a 'possible' statement tonight.

Re: " NEIL WARNOCK SAYS "

Not had your pm yet mate but just found this:

Uccello Azzurro wrote:The media reports are that QPR have been told by the Football League that the play-offs will be played as per the original schedule - with or without them. The impression is that any appeal that QPR choose to make will not be allowed to cast a shadow over the schedule and the plans of other teams.

Which I though intersting as it could therefore be the league playing hardball and say accept the punishment or it could be a whole lot worse for you. Maybe a point deduction taking them even out of the play-offs with no chance of re-entry on appeal as matches and results/finals will have taken place.

Wish they would put us out of our misery lol

I expect another possible statement tonight. Or tomorrow. Or at some point in the future.

I suspect my source is 100%.

because, after all, if there had been no statement, you'd have pointed out it was only a possibility. Getting your info from the journo Paul Smith by any chance?

Re: " NEIL WARNOCK SAYS "

Who is paul smith?

My source as I have reiterated from day dot is top notch.

If you are 100% confident in your guy you better ask them what's gone on today. Word is the FA can expect a legal issue once this is concluded.

The R's are up live with it Nerd
