It is better than it was back in the 1980's but the biggest problem is still the lack of jobs and affordable housing. All traditional steelworking jobs plus the passport office have gone and all that's left is minimum wage packing jobs.

A shithole it is. The only place I know where they serve Methadone in Starbucks. I had to pop into the passport office last week and was served by the this local gentlemen who is typical of the local inhabitants.
