Agree with you on Ridsdale, on the fence about DJ but disagree about McPhail.

McPhail was captain of our FA Cup final team-a proud moment.

the frame of mind I am in with our loosing streak & the most recent have to be :

1) loosing in the playoff final to blackpool
2) loosing in the fa cup final
3) ramsey going back to arsenal from his loan spell (there are far worse memories but currently this is what is playing on my mind!!)

Play Off 2010
Any defeat to the Jacks
Preston 6-0, I was at Twickenham and thought my mother was lying with the updates, "Preston scored 6 in one half? yeah right"

Stoke City 2-0 up at one time only to loose.

Sheff Wednesday last game of the season needing a point. lackluster performance

Blackpool play off final lackluster Blackpool wanted it more than us and they deserved it

All 3,I thought we should have won which makes it even more disappointing

Re: What are your worst 3 CCFC supporting memories?

In this order

1-Losing playoff final last year, if we had a choice to hand pick a team from the top 10 in the league at this time last year who we wanted to play in the final 99% of us would have picked blackpool :(

2-Losing at sheff weds on the last day of the 2009 season and realising on the way home that i watched my last game at ninian, we all thought we would be back in a few weeks for the playoff game to give the ground a proper send off because it deserved more than that ipswich game, that was gut wrenching and pushed the above close to being no 1!

3-Losing to stoke in the 2nd leg of the semi in 2002, being so close to the final in our own city then having it snatched from you like that was heartbreaking :( (We made up for it next season tho) :ayatollah:

1. Losing to Stoke at Home in the Play Off Semi Final.

2. The 6-0 defeat to Preston my Daughters first away game and unforgettable for all the wrong reasons.

3. Losing to Everton in the FA cup in 1977 i was convinced we were going all the way to Wembley that year as it was 50 years since our famous FA Cup win

Maybe we should not have a top 3 but a top 10 then i could include in no particular order:-

Relegation to the old 4th division :(

Losing in the FA cup Final

Selling Earnie

Any defeat to the Jerks

The last ever game against Ipswich at Ninian Park

Losing to Blackpool in the PO Final

Losing to Northampton in the Play Offs

Re: What are your worst 3 CCFC supporting memories?

1. Play Off Final
2. 1985/86 Relegation
3. losing to stoke in the play off semi final

Even though we got to a play off final last season the excitement and the nearves of being so close to the premiership
to go 1 up then 2-1 up I really thought we are going to win this then by half time I was having a pint and wondered what went wrong in 35 years of supporting City the worst day ever for me
