For a player not match fit excellent performance. Just hope he stays fit. Cool calm, made Westwood pull off a cracking save, not a typical centre half's attempt on goal either.

I think Hudson looked better with Riggot too nice to have a clean sheet and to be fair they threw all their big names on played 3 up front but we kept a cleen sheet

1) Looks nothing like him
2) Comparing him to Tate in any way, shape or form should be a bannable offence...

Oozed class, helped organise the rest of the defence, just hope all the injuries
are behind him.

Re: VIEWS ON RIGGOT

Steady but not really tested today by a poor Marlon King. Came off before Coventry applied more attacking forwards.

A good improvement in my opinion on the normal pairings for sure.

Hudson looked like Santa gave him two feet for Christmas. Let's hope it's a long term present.

Re: VIEWS ON RIGGOT

He looked like a class player. Ok, there were one or two rusty moments, but what do you expect when we haven't got a reserve team to help get him up to speed.

Once he's playing regularly, he'll be a rock in our defence.

I'm a big Riggott fan and I thought he was superb today, him and Hudson were class together.

Tbf he hasnt played a game in months and had a few bad moments, but overall I thought he had a class game :D

Looked assured, did not panic and made some good passes. He will only get better.

He was great, first clean sheet since Leeds says something.

It is confirmed!!! Rigott does exist and he aint too bad a defender :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: . Good signing Mr Jones now keep him fit :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Riggot has problems with his knees doesn't he? If he does, he might want to have a word with the fella looking after Bellamy.

Would any doom and gloomers blaming Jones for signing Riggott like to apologise to Dave for all their negative and derogative comments ?? Thought Not

Keep the faith , get off players and Jones back and support the team

Re: VIEWS ON RIGGOT

i thought riggot did well today :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

agree totally with comments about Coventry keeper, he made some very good saves today and then even clapped the cardiff fans behind his goal before leaving the pitch :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Re: VIEWS ON RIGGOT

Sun Dec 26, 2010 11:26 pm

looked solid, won alot in the air, and played the ball well from the back, he didnt lump anything 50 yards aimlessly up field :ayatollah:

Not half as gutted as some of us were when we saw what was coming on!!

But then, in fairness, he also did ok :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Re: VIEWS ON RIGGOT

Top performance considering everything he has been through injury wise, hopefully he stays fit because for me it looks like Hudson and Gypes or whoever we bring in come January are gunna have to battle it out for the other spot

Re: VIEWS ON RIGGOT

Mon Dec 27, 2010 1:43 pm

I thought he was qualiy and brought some class to the back, IMO it helped Hudson as well.

He looks so small but got a great leap on him. He looks quite boyish so funny to think he is older than Hudson.

Re: VIEWS ON RIGGOT

I felt quite comfortable with the defence as the game went on yesterday. I dont know if that was because we played a poor Coventry, the Riggott factor or we simply outplayed them with our new game of passing the ball.

Riggott needs a run of games to prove himself. So far its positive and lets hope he builds on this.
