I heard last night from someone in the know that they had planned to attack St Davids shopping centre! Cant substantiate the info I had but it seems pretty feasible.

Bit of a generalisation picking out those areas!

I've not seen anything but I do know of a few Islamic extremists who actually live in the Roath, Cathays and Cyncoed areas. Plus, Splott and Tremorfa have strong Muslim communities.

The thing that confuses me is if they knew yesterday or whenever, why didnt they make the arrests earlier? I mean surely they are giving them time to carry out the attacks by delaying the arrests! I was in St Davids yesterday.......scary thought!

Tremorfa isn't actually that strong on the Muslim community. We have a few Muslim families, but the majority aren't. Compared with other areas, anyways.

The person who told me is very reliable....said not to go shopping in Cardiff as they had been warned by someone "in the know" who is related to them, and as far as I am concerned had no reason to scaremonger a family member.

Someone I know is going for the SRR (undercover Special forces) they are
the plainclothes soldiers who do all the groundwork on these utter cunts. I
hope he gets to slot a few of them in the course of making an arrest

I have no first experience of them being extremist obviously but others have said about their communications with them. Not just the odd person but a fair few. Hence why I am not naming names because it's not reliable to go on other people's words but to me, and what I know of these people, it would make sense.

A friend of mine whos in the know says that St Davids Centre was high on their list as they see Cardiff as a soft target, somewhere unexpected to strike. Everyone thinks any attack would be in London. If five or six people pulled out guns and started shooting there would be carnage, and who is going to stop them? By the time armed police got there, hundreds would be dead. Its time for a big clampdown on these people, but i wont hold my breath.

Have to have as much evidence as possible I'd imagine. They will not let them carry out the attack but by letting them go as long as possible they actually get enough to nail them.
