However, one question that screams out when looking at this latest position is:

If the Malaysians are now dealing directly with Paul Guy etc and are looking to secure the take over in the next month. Why did Vince feel (from his OWN club source) that we needed to 'Back/lay off' PR as HE was the pivotal element to the deal being done with TG/VT etc?? Furthermore, it was even suggested that the Malaysians wanted PR to stay on as part of the take over.

I, for one, am now totally confused - What's your view?

To be honest Annis, I am in two minds as to what I can make of all this regarding PR. At the end of the day I just wish we all could get on with supporting our club as football supporters and not have all the worry of what is going on behind the scenes at board level.
IMHO I believe BSkyB and all the other large sponsorship monies from everywhere else has ruined the game. At times I wish we were back in the dungeon enjoying real football, as I have said before my sons and I have watched football live in Italy, Germany, Spain, The Premiership, Championship and 1st Division so far this season and the most enjoyable match has been Brentford vs Norwich, REAL passion and hunger from BOTH the players and the supporters.
I wish the money men would give the game back to the supporters. We can only live in hope eh

What PR said to Vince about 'backing him' makes this story about Pr all the more believable. Ridsdale must have known that pressure was mounting on him from above so if he could have secured backing from the Supporters it would have provided a powerful weapon in his favour.
