What have you got to do to get the atmosphere in the stadium buzzing 2-nil up after 12 minutes the roof sHould be raised but it was silent

Sometimes in the game i could heard the players on the pitch shouting??

Where the atmosphere gone on this note i know everyone wont stop singing next because it is the jacks they are all worth 3 points and should be creating the atmosphere like iut will be next week cmon city get behind the BOYS !!!!!

Annis i know i hate this stadium but it juat seems people dont watnt to get behind the team when they bobarded us for 10-15 mons in our half i could hear people shouting CMON but maybe if we give them the lift in the stadium it would have give the players a life some on the fans are to fikkle

TBH in the canton it id deffo better but we cant hear the away fans much, you should come over and sample our hospitality

from the Grandstand i think the Canton Stand is def the nosiest part,
Ninian stand should be as it is nearest part to away fans, but they cant seem to keep a chant going for more than 30 seconds.
When at Ninian used to be a bloke in block A of grandstand that would get dAVEY jOES Barmy Army going, he kept going and going even when others tried to stop, in the end it encouraged the others and wld be like a wave going along to block C of grandstand....thats what is needed, keep it going and you will find it will make others join in.

Cant agree with a lot of that -

the view from the family stand was that the faily stand did make a noise - joined in with other chants - they dont start their own but they definitely join in.

The Ninian stand - the parts near the the away fans were again very noisy, the rest ofthe Ninian stand, were anything but noisy...

The Canton stand - Today - cannot be afulted - sining and waving could be seen for the majority - at least the centre sections anyway.

I enjoyed the game, which is what its all about...isn't it ?

certainly in block 106 Canton Stand and in fact generally the back areas of 105 also the fans do make an effort to try and get things going, thought it was great there today in that area !!!

That may be true on times but I thought today was great before and during the match. Due to the chants of I'll Be There for Jon and the crew it helped greatly. I don't think the atmosphere is that bad in all honesty.

If we were Top of the League and had 24,600 Fans in Ninian Park, it would of been Electric, Never mind we will get there one day

you all been talking shit for months about atmosphere its a different type of crowd theres probably 1 thousand in the canton and 1 thousand in the ninian stands and 200 in the family stand who try to sing

away fans aveage 500 - 1500 and when they sing out sing home fans if the above 1k and 1k and 200 sang for 90 mins

the rest would follow - you have to sing for 90 mins if you want to get the old ninian fortress back and not 5mins stand up if you hate swansea shit


sing out loud and clear be proud be passionate and make some noise

People find it hard to sing and sit down the same time, thats why the best atmosphere comes from the Canton Stand where we are all stood up. Seating has killed a lot of atmosphere in modern grounds.

What the Club needs is our own 'Super fan" Pompey have the bloke with the bell, Leicester and Spurs have a guy with a drum, Sheff Weds have their jazz band, we have . . .???? nothing to encourage an atmosphere. That's what's needed. Someone or something to congregate around.

There are a group of guys in the Canton ( about 6 - 10 of them) block 104 who keep the 'Barmy Army' chant going for 15 to 20 mins at a time. Yesterday they had the 'Jason Koumas' thing going. I 'm in the corner, Block 103, and me and my Mrs join in but loads around them don't. That's just the way it is.
