Massively frustrating

Sat Sep 12, 2026 1:25 pm

Well that was massively frustrating and practically a carbon copy of last year's game at Bolton away.

We dominated large parts of the game but didn't take our chances, then Bolton get a smash and grab winner at the end.

We have ourselves to blame for not taking chances but it's another game where we dominated large parts and not got the win. Their keeper made some good saves but there were chances we should have taken.

Good thing is we are playing well and I do believe the wins will come.

The manager and his coaches are doing everything they can, but the players need to be taking the chances or we'll have more days like this.

Alex Robertson MOTM for me.

Still think we will survive “easily” in this league?

Elsie Tanner absolutely shocking

We can’t finish!!! Made keeper look good and then got mugged

Tanner must have compromising photos of somebody, shocking

Missed chances and a lack of options off the bench. Same old same old

Yeah

Can't keep losing games like this.

Bolton four losses in a row.

We have to be concerned now.

Four points from eighteen.

Just not good enough.

Lazy.

Lethargic.

Constantly giving the ball away.

Re: Massively frustrating

Absolutely crackers its the chances we missed rather than their keepers great saves that cost us and for life of me font understand bbms subs? Takes off salech who's had his best game puts on ashford why not play both together could afford to lose Tanner or Willock! Then 2 subs at 90+2 mins with 1 minute left!! Not 1st time done that? Frustrating is understatement

Re: Massively frustrating

We could very well be around 3rd or 4th the way the matches have gone. Sheff utd, stoke, qpr and today we deserved an extra 5 points

Re: Massively frustrating

Sickening result today as totally undeserved but if we fail to win next week, we'll start drifting and BBM has to be questioned, its a results business. I am huge BBM fan but 7 without a win is shocking. Its clear we are fighting relegation and we've just lost to a rival. Very depressing.

But we didn’t win. We played the same against Derby, Sheffield Utd and Stoke and didn’t win. Football is about scoring more than the other team, we don’t do that.

It's worse than I thought - 4 points from 21 :o

Manager and coaches need to take responsibility Ned.
Even with your never ending rose tinted view, our finishing and final ball is to be blunt, pathetic.
We are so wasteful and our decision making is non-league. Perhaps unfair to single one player out, but Tanner time and time again left looking up at the heavens after ballsing it up, yet he’s left on for another 90 minutes just like Tuesday’s abysmal performance.
Championship isn’t BBM’s level.

Things will change positively soon, I’m convinced of that, but I’m thinking the automatic places are already out of reach! :laughing6: :ayatollah:

Taking into account the end of last season , also Ramsey went manager we can't buy a win .
Its not the manager the players are a great bunch they just haven't got a scoring mentality and you can't buy that , well you can just these players haven't got it sorry , these players need recruits that know where the net is

Re: Massively frustrating

How did Tanner stay on the pitch for the whole game? Willock was by far more of a threat. Dominated the game but still couldn't score or get a point. Back to League One I think. Oh one more thing PISS OFF VINCENT F**KING TAN :banghead: :banghead:

The anti Tanner clowns out in force again. If you watched that and thought Tanner was the issue I don't know what to say, have to score your big chances

BBM one game away from the sack. That's how Tan works
Erol wasn't at THE CCS for no reason.

Chris, I agree with Worcester as well. Although it’s worrying I think we’ll be ok in terms of not fighting relegation.

I’m more positive than you though I think we can still get automatic promotion.

39 straight wins and we’re there! ;) :bluescarf:

If you watched that and thouught Tanner played well then I don't know what to say.

The amount of times he gave the ball away cheaply and was so slow getting back.

And, although he's certainly not the only culprit, as a forward player his finishing is simply woeful.

Re: Massively frustrating

If we survive then it means Burnley or Derby go down which i cant see
Rest tanner for Charlton
Replace him with Ashford

Start Lawlor for Osho (If Lawlor can of course)
Osho needs resting

I believe as long as Lawlor plays we will be alright in defence
Salech just needs that 1 goal then he will get more confident and score more

If we can't win a game, make sure we don't lose it.

But once again, another sloppy goal conceded. Bielik was too slow getting out to stop the cross, then Bagan gets caught under the ball and leaves his man free at the back.

A decent team would have kept a clean sheet, but we will never keep a clean sheet.

We dominated. The result is down to poor finishing. Look at Salech and Moylan for that. Tanner done his bit gave the ball away no more than anyone else, he's the boards favourite scapegoat though. If fingers are to be pointed it's at the guys blowing chance after chance not the bloke creating them
