I agree. A tumbleweed transfer window. If we sign 2 or 3 good 'uns I'll come back here with my humble pie, but I'm positive we'll do jack sh1t.

Must be Tan's reward to BBM for promotion.

I'm told that as things stand, it's likely that Cardiff's transfer business is over. That's a big surprise to me and I know it will be a disappointment to many fans.

Like I've said, it's a talented squad with huge promise, but I feel it's very light in key areas.

It's been quite apparent for a while now that no new signings will be coming in. I feel sorry for BBM who has been let down by the hierachy imo.
Any new signings will be a pleasant surprise and I'd take back what I've just posted but history shows this club piss poor when it comes to pushing the club forward.

I’ve been happy to be patient and haven’t been panicking, but we were told to judge it by the end of the window and if we are truly are not going to sign anyone else, that is a shambles and speaks of incompetence at a board level. A properly structured process would have multiple players for each position they would identify and negotiate for, but that seems beyond the competence of this lot, or we are paying such peanuts we can’t attract anyone.

The manager clearly wants some more depth to the squad and he’s not been backed at all. If Salech gets injured, or we have a couple of injuries and suspensions we will be in deep, deep trouble.

I didn’t expect £5m signings but I did expect some more players in, at least on loan..

You can’t do things on a shoestring and expect any degree of success when you are competing against teams investing millions on players.

I find it extremely difficult to believe that in over four months, throughout the UK and abroad, we've not been able to find more than one affordable new player (Moylan) who would add depth and quality to our squad and who could be persuaded to join our club.

Bielik would not have been signed except for injuries.

I agree we haven’t pushed as much as we should have but if our signings are:

Trott £1.5m
Moylan £2m+
Bielik £2.5m(using fee from FotMob and all sources around the deal suggest there was a fee)

That’s £6m plus Scanlon, it’s not negligible. Maybe he was given a £10m and he’s been too picky to use it all? We’ll never know.
