Normally do a Deadline Day thread on here but thought I'd mix it up this year and start it a couple of days early.

The summer transfer window closes at 11pm on Tuesday. After that, no transfers (other than free agents) can be completed until January. If a deal sheet is submitted by 11pm, then clubs will have an extra two hours to conclude the transfer.

Cardiff City hope to be active in the last couple of days with new additions likely.

There will be outgoings too with the likes of Eli King, Kion Etete, Dak Mafico and Tanatswa Nyakuhwa amongst those made available for loan.

Elsewhere, most Premier League managers say they hope to do some business before the deadline.

Is it me or as this window been more of a merry go round with premier clubs buying selling between themselves a lot more?

We still need 4 in my opinion. Defensive mid, Right back, Winger and Striker

Definitely seems to be a lot more transfers between PL clubs than usual. All of Anderson, Konsa, Guimaraes, Tonali, Baleba, Tielemans, Santos, Savinho, Marmoush, Rogers etc have all stayed in the same league but gone to different clubs for big money.

It's when all the real quality players become available apparently!

Let's hope we manage to sign at least three.

I will agree with you, and hope we add some quality, a striker is tops for me salec cannot do it all.

Brian Madjo on loan from Villa.

Not sure if he would be available with all the outgoings at Villa currently but 17 year old striker who played in the Super Cup final and did very well. Was very raw but a handful.

Didn't think he was that good yesterday but I do rate him as a player.

They tried to get Azeez from Millwall as well, but he's told them he only wants a Premier League move.

Southampton defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis is going to Aston Villa for £30m.

I'm a bit surprised to hear from walesonline that we may be targeting a RB- if so, id try to sign Cody Drameh who is apparently available for 1 million. He was exceptional at Cardiff a few seasons ago on loan but his career has stumbled since. I have no doubt BBM would get him to new heights that he never reached before though.


Quick thoughts on Bielk to me he seems to be a more physical man mountain version of Calum Chambers. So I just wonder if the club doesnt sign a number 6 whether BBM will go with Chambers to compete with Robertson for that number 6 spot this season with Bielk being a mainstay in defense?


The Club is a quality winger and a striker to compete with Salech away from being potential dark horses this season, we've been brilliant in the first 3 games despite looking for our first win.

Also just a shoutout to Cian Ashford, he looks a different player since he was moved to number 10, I used to think he was just a rotational utility player, but as a number 10 he's been absolutely exceptional, I dont see how anyone will take that spot from him now and he could even be an important player for Wales for years to come.

He's come on twice for Hull in their first two games, at half time and 70 minutes so I doubt it unless Hull bring someone in themselves.

He has a recurring injury which is a big risk he is ok now but for how long

I knew somebody was in the know hopefully all three of them deals don't fall through like many many years of past last minute deals as over 3 months is never enough. I hope they are better loan players from prem clubs that always come last minute right

Jeremy Monga, a young winger from Man City seems to be going to the JBs on loan.

Previously at Leicester so probably well known to BBM.

Wasn't a forced signing though, someone we've been looking at for a while according to BBM - the only ITK source you can really believe.

Surely the madness is coming up with reasons why players who have signed for us are "not really signings". If they've signed for us then they are by definition actual signings & there are enough real reasons for a moan without making them up as you go.
