As briefly mentioned last week I am expecting at least 1 loan and 1 permanent signing this week in key positions.

I wouldn’t be shocked to see 3 or 4 in before the close of the window.

Goodness me I hope this is right - we are desperate now for reinforcements before the window closes.

At least as it's taken this long they should be absolutely top quality additions!

Hopefully Ned and I agree with the other comment let's hope there quality the time we have had to get some. My main concern is how long will it take to get fit and game ready if they have not played with there previous club or clubs. Let's hope they are better than what we have also

I am hoping we get a quality, not far off first-team consideration Man City loan. It would be a perfect fit with our style and the manager's relationship. Plus i imagine every top club is viewing Lawlor, so want to get in our good books

Osho and Chambers are close aren't they? I'd be happy with Ng Chambers/ Osho Bagan and Scanlon. Think we desperately need a 6 as a permanent signing.

Yes it is but injuries seem to take much longer to recover from than they used to.

It's probably due to better medical advice and an unwillingness nowadays to rush players back and risk further injury.

As we've been saying the better premer league loans and final sell ons take time, as they keep as cover for the last week or two untl they get there players in. Centre half from Arsenal has been mentioned.

Then you get the fans who proclaim that that there's 2 or 3 very close to signing or 2 coming in this week, we're actually kept well in the dark on this which then leads to other fans losing faith that we'll actually sign anyone like yourself.
Maybe best not to speculate as it often leads to frustration but we can all see what's needed and in our minds we all have a vision of what our team would look like if we signed X or X.

He was left with no choice fish will probably not be in the starting 11 this side of xmas and if it's a quality cb he may not even get back into the side at all.

It was three months for Fish at the start of August. So even if you allow an extra couple of weeks for him to be ready for matches, he'll be back by the middle of November - certainly not as late as Christmas. I still don't think we need a CB but BBM knows best.

There's also a three week long international break between now and then.

It looks like we will sign four before the deadline. So that'll be seven summer signings in total.

I have said from the start that I will be patient and have remained so. Others have chosen the opposite approach.

Are we expecting news before midday in order to be eligible to.morrow?
