MY VIEW : TODAY FOR ME CARDIFF DESERVED THEIR AWAY DRAW AND MATCHED DERBY ALL THE WAY:

Probably over all 2-2 was a fair result.

But it’s a good point on the road for the Bluebirds

Cardiff though need to strengthen ASAP as the squad with injuries is way to small.

Both Clubs Suffering with injuries.

Rubin Colwill Started and as Captain:

I personally believe Derby will struggle this season, they look a lot weaker than most Championship clubs.

Cardiff had by far the most possession.

Cardiff get their 2nd point as Derby get their first point of the season

Moylan went off injured in 71st min??

Over all Possession DCFC 38% CCFC 62%

Shots DCFC 14 CCFC 16

Shots on Target DCFC 6 CCFC 7

FIRST-HALF: Possession DCFC 44% CCFC 56%

Shots DCFC 10 / CCFC 9

Shots on Target DCFC 5 CCFC 7

Entertaining and Cardiff just edged it.

19mins : Alex Robertson sends a corner deep and Kpakio hooks a ball back in towards the six-yard box.

Carlton Morris leaves his man, Cian Ashford, in the middle of the goal and the Bluebirds man instinctively sweeps it into the bottom corner 0-1 Ashford

26mins :Derby County 1-1 Cardiff City (Morris 26)
Goal! Route one for Derby and it works. Morris scores.

GOAL! Derby County 1-2 Cardiff City (Salech 39)
GOOOOOAL! What a goal from Cardiff!
Rubin to Salech and yes 1-2 City

SECOND-HALF:

49mins Derby County 2-2 Cardiff City
Goal! Bobby Clark hammers home! Blackett-Taylor's cross deflects kindly off Kpakio and bounces into Clark's path. He hammers home from near the penalty spot. Vicious strike.

59mins Rubin Colwill off, David Turnbull on.

Cian Ashford off, Chris Willock on.

70mins Derby double sub.

71mins Moylan has to come off, slight knock?. Joel Colwill coming on.

Isaak Davies also on for Tanner now

Game went a little flat and both clubs seem to be evening each other out.

A draw with no centre backs at all, I’ll take that.

Let’s hope we get more in before the window closes and we should be alright.

Great result given the circumstances.

Well done to all the players and staff.

But PLEASE get some help in this week!

Decent result all things told.

Played some good stuff which is promising to see.

Take a point :bluescarf:

We win that with a normal back four. Great effort to gain a point in the circumstances. Brilliant attacking display at times.

Great result to be fair and unlucky not to take all 3 points just hope moylan was precautionary.

This is my frustration. We have thrown away the lead twice today because we have stupidly not improved our defence.

It doesn't matter how well we play. We're always going to concede too many soft goals unless our defence is significantly improved.

We've done very well to get a point today. I feel sorry for BBM. He's working on a shoestring with an injury depleted squad and Tan clearly isn't backing him.

Fair result...

Very happy with the performance...

Think Moylan is desperate to score so much he injuries himself trying when a better pass was on.

Callum Scanlon (despite some negative comments) is proving to be a stellar signing and understanding why Liverpool wanted to extend his deal b4 the loan.

When a manager puts two keepers on the bench he’s trying to say something. It’s why they do it. Brilliant performance today and all they could do was hook balls forwards. Of course caused us problems because of the physical difference but only one side played any good stuff and actually looked threatening. Great fight, good football but tan needs to help out in the next few days and get some reinforcements. Good performance though

Unbeaten in 2 with no centre backs. Well done boys, can't ask for more, did not see that coming. Stats suggest we potentially edged it too.

So glad Salech got on the scoresheet!!!

Unrelated to this game...but check Ballard's goal out today for Bristol...sublime!

Great way point away I'd say with what's going on with the back line with injuries, although derby will struggle this season id say going off that :bluescarf:

Superb result with 4 centre backs injured. Personally would have thrown in the young centre on bench to start instead of NG. Perhaps he will in the cup match

Think Bagan can step in no problem. Ng just isn't big enough to play there, he wasn't helped by kpakio constantly making stupid unforced errors

Hate to single out a player but Kpackio is abysmal. He needs his confidence built up. I am not writing him off, he needs looking after and maybe a loan. Just not ready yet.

I said in another thread he's very Trent like, the pass to Ashford was quality most people don't have that vision they just hook it high toward the far post. I'm not 100% right back is even his position.

Let’s get one thing straight: Kpakio has more talent in his shoelaces than some of the fans calling him “abysmal” give him a break. He’s a very attacking full-back trying to find his feet in one of the most physically demanding leagues in the world.

Get behind him, just like we did when Mafico had a tough debut.

These are the players who got us promoted. They’ll learn, adapt and improve as the season goes on. And who knows? Maybe, like Sunderland, we consolidate this year and then kick on again the year after.

Look how CA & RC are now playing, it will take time.

Would have settled for a draw before the kick off so happy with the result but we could have just as easily won or lost. That first half was non stop back & forth so no surprise the second half looked like it was in slow motion.

I think the general concencous is he's a good player who's not ready yet

Definitely not ready he's been thrown in to early was same previous seasons need experience where its not going to cost us? Nothing wrong as a player he just hasn't got the technique at moment to get ball or keep ball away from attackers like today was good example..
