I always thought that we would have got a few in ready for preseason. But this is Cardiff City

These are probably equivalent to top-end championships, so they would be a good comparator for gauging where some of our younger players are in their development.

Yes we will Sign players, But i believe they All have to be off Championship Quality as this Squad needs it Big time.

I do know you have to get rid of players as well.

I'm more patient than most but a result like today, even in pre-season against a superior team, causes slight concern.

I'm hoping he has a few deals lined up and we just haven't heard anything.

They are better than a top end Championship team. You only need to look at their results in Europe to see that. They've beaten some good teams and run others like Eintract Frankfurt and Roma pretty close.

But this time we have bbm saying sighn players and lots on here praises bbm and say tan trusts him and bbm is best thing we've had in many years but going by what is now being said people reverting to type like every pre season .

There were lots that would have been happy for us to get a Madine in January, just in case, buy anyone we need players, doesn't matter that there are none in January buy we're panicking.

He's definitely fussy; they have to be right in ability and character, and he wants to keep a happy squad with no cliques. He will get what he wants, especially top-quality loans, but a lot won't arrive until near the deadline. We are going to have a lot of panic right up until then and especially when we play Wrexham, it's going to be fun watching us play the BBM way.

It is true that last summer we had endless threads of us not signing anyone. By the end of the window, some people were saying "three new players isn't enough" and that "we'd be lucky to stay up". People also decided from day one that they didn't rate BBM and would go after him after every bad result. When I was backing him it was the same old "be careful what you say because remember you backed Riza". I have admitted multiple times that I was wildly wrong about Riza, but some have not held their hands up and said they were wrong about BBM - some have to be fair.

They only actually supported him properly when they had no choice to because it was clear we were heading for promotion. I have no doubt that they'll turn on him again after one or two bad results, that's what fickle fans do.

Your post about transfers is also spot on. I have no doubt we will add quality to the squad. There is a myth that transfers at the end of the window are the ones that nobody else wanted. When in fact the transfers done near the start of the window are that, that's why they can get done so quickly.

We are not going to sign ten players every summer like with previous managers, and that's a good thing. We will add quality, I hope maybe one or two soon, but fans also do need to get real and accept signing the right players sometimes takes time. That is much better than signing just anyone that we are stuck with for years (for example Etete) as has been the case in the past.

One thing is for certain, I won't let anyone stop me from having my opinion or from calling out bullshit when I see it.

Regarding wintle and turnbull bbm played wintle all season i am not saying anything about contracts I am pointing out we got rid of our player of the season and kept turnbull we could have renewed wintle's contract ? where you happy to see him go ,i was not he was brilliant last season and do you agree turnbull was shite and should be got rid of farmed out whatever and replace with better quality.

You're totally missing the point with Wintle and Turnbull. One was out of contract and not wanted (again I'll go with the manager's judgement over entitled fans). The other is under contract. For him to leave another club has to want him and he has to want the move. I really don't get why can't understand that.

And to answer your question, yes I supported the decision for Wintle to go for two reasons. First is I've never been convinced he's good enough for the Championship. Second is because I will trust a manager that the usual suspects wrote off but actually delivered last season.

You spent last summer saying "look at teams like Plymouth who came down with us and they've signed loads of players". Yet they didn't even make the play-offs.

Nobody is saying we don't need to sign anyone, in fact it's the opposite. Patience is needed because we will add the quality we need, the best players always move in the last month of the window.

Regarding wintle and turnbull bbm played wintle all season i am not saying anything about contracts I am pointing out we got rid of our player of the season and kept turnbull we could have renewed wintle's contract ? where you happy to see him go ,i was not he was brilliant last season and do you agree turnbull was shite and should be got rid of farmed out whatever and replace with better quality.

You're totally missing the point with Wintle and Turnbull. One was out of contract and not wanted (again I'll go with the manager's judgement over entitled fans). The other is under contract. For him to leave another club has to want him and he has to want the move. I really don't get why can't understand that.

And to answer your question, yes I supported the decision for Wintle to go for two reasons. First is I've never been convinced he's good enough for the Championship. Second is because I will trust a manager that the usual suspects wrote off but actually delivered last season.

Grange End picked me out by saying no shit sherlock about wintle kellyman etc after I mention they where no longer here, it was simply to say we need to replace those 2 first so when others say we need to sign 4 etc that would be only 2 new additions so I would say we need 6 new signings.
