NEW OWNERS? OR SEE WHAT HAPPENS WITH TAN.

Just wondering what fans are thinking after promotion, we have all seen the photos of vinny bbm and wife looking like a family photo.
So many fans on this forum were hoping for tan to retire and sell after our last game of the season.

Do we still feel the same or are we all just happy to wait and see what tan does? we have been here so many times ,
my reading of the forum was that most want tan gone with a only a few saying don' t rock the boat and upset tan or the club,
but now was the time for a decision put your hands in your pocket and back murphy 100% or lets have a new owner who wants to invest millions.

Does anyone really see tan pumping in millions for next season or really what I sm sure will happen it will all again be on a shoestring.

And for anyone telling me that murphy probably does not need much money well that would be just plain silly we are going back into a much more competitive division and all of us do not want to be fighting relegation all season.

So I was just asking fans thoughts on the coming season ,with the continuation of more of the same or a big change ,it would be good to see were the fans stand know we have been promoted,some may have softened, others will have hardened there views .
My own personal feeling is I hope tan moves very soon and sells up ,but judging by his latest family photo with bbm he is sadly staying.

I don't think anything has changed with wanting the current owner & his sidekicks to leave and I don't think it is ever very likely to change, even if we were to magically do the treble, they've just done too much damage.

But he's not going anywhere so we'll just have to wait & see if he gives BBM what he wants & what he thinks he needs, we don't really have much choice no matter how unhappy we may be with him.

Does BBM need him to spend millions? I have no idea but I'll trust what he (BBM) says until there's a reason not to, and he has some credit in the bank after last season.

seen the pics think BBM, his wife and family are enjoying themselves let's hope BBM has told TAN, what he needs for next season, personally I want tan to sell up and take MD, and Choo with him whoever runs OUR CLUB NEEDS TO BACK BBM to take us to where we need to BE,!!!

Would love him to sell but hes definitely here for next season at least , bbm will get fully backed in pre season for one more shot at promotion as if we go up again tan will get the price he wants for the club

Unless Tan lowers his valuation of the club I can’t see too many buyers unfortunately.

I’ve said from the beginning that Tans not going to sell anytime soon and definitely not this year.

It’s good start with the investment of Trott as many on here saying we wouldn’t be able to afford him.

Yes tan seems to have no knowledge of the league he did this season on a shoestring he will defenitly think it can be done with a few loans ,I fear he has already relayed this to bbm ,i will back you but not to much money hey.

But due to his history the moment it starts to turn Tan doesn't have any credit / wriggle room, so I’ll just as quickly want him gone again. But for now I don’t know why anybody would want him gone at this very moment. The way I see it is partly affected by the ‘success’ of BBM on a very tight budget, using youngsters, and keeping a ‘happy’ squad together; and also the new PSR Rules (or whatever they are called now)

The overriding concern for the owner is to recoup as much of his money as he can, so the temptation for Tan must be to ‘see how it goes’ with his current coach/manager with an eye on another ‘successful’ season that might see the club and some players, value rise substantially

However, if Tan is true to his original words (witnessed by Annis and others) he can continue to ‘transfer’ monies from ‘debt to equity’ which (if I read it correctly) do not affect the new ‘rules’ adversely?

This is only my impression, but BBM meeting up with Tan out in Malaysia is an indicator that both parties are ready to go again next season

Yes I believe under the new rules owners can put in up to 15 million per season on top of the 85% scr , as long as it is in equity and doesn't surpass 39 million over 3 seasons other wise its and automatic 6 point deduction plus 1 extra point per 6.5 million extra spent

Your happy but the biggest sticking point is the word "hope" Tan backs murphys ,so we go into next season hoping tan backs him.

That is what we have done season after season and owner who does the bare minimum, we were so lucky to get out of this division but it was murphy not Tan that did it ,

I too wish he would drop it but where we differ is that I don't think it's about the money but about the guilt he feels for it. As you say though, that is where his focus seems to be.

Yes, he's going to see what BBM can do over the next season or two. I think he'll sensibly support him too.
