Very difficult to name, every payer that comes back in does a good job!
We more or less, have five or six different options, depending on who we are playing.
Mon Feb 16, 2026 10:01 am
Trott
NG Chambers Osho Bagan
Wintle. Robertson
R Colwill
Willock. Kellyman. Tanner
Extremely difficult but on another day Salech Joel lawlor Turnbull.would be in.
Mon Feb 16, 2026 10:04 am
Very difficult to say because the key to our success so far has been the rotation.
But I'd say:
Trott
Ng Chambers Osho Bagan
Wintle Robertson
Tanner Joel Willock
Salech
Mon Feb 16, 2026 11:12 am
Trott
Ng Osho Chambers Bagan
Robertson
Rubin Joel
Tanner Kellyman Willock

As daft as it sounds I don't think we have a best team.
To me it's the matchday squad with all 16 of them playing a part at different times during the game.
Mon Feb 16, 2026 11:46 am
Trott
Ng Chambers Osho Bagan
Joel Robertson
Tanner Kellyman Willock
Salech
Mon Feb 16, 2026 11:58 am
Trott
Chambers & Lawler
NG . Bagan
Wintle & Turnbull
Joel Colwill.. Rubin Colwill
Robinson Kellerman.
Above side for 65 mintues.
Then completely change stretch the game by bringing on two wingers on in
Tanner ,Wilcox and bog lad up front ie Salech .

I agree, I'll have a go, but I know if I look again in two minutes, I'll pick a different team.
TROTT
NG Lawlor Chambers BAGAN
Robertson
Rubin Joel
Tanner Kellyman Willock
TROTT BAGAN NG in every team so far, I think.
I can't believe how many options we now have, and players like Kpacio, Fish and others don't get a start in any team!
Not really sure if that midfield would work, but i'd llove to see it.
Nye above, probably helped me

Great question. If we were in a play-off final, with all fit, I would go with..
GK: Trott. No questions.
RB: NG. Back to his very best under BBM after a season and a half of decline.
CB: Chambers (c). Very important in both attack and defence.
CB: Lawler. Harsh on Osho, but I think his stand out performances earlier in the season warrants a place.
LB: Bagan. Dark horse for player of the year for me.
CDM: Wintle. Really shocked me. Added fight to his passing game. Very important player in top form. BBM version of him is the best we've seen.
CDM: Robertson Too good at L1 level. BBM version of him is the best we've seen.
RW: Tanner. 8 assists and has the best assists/game ratio in the league. BBM version of him is the best we've seen.
LW: Willock. Probably the weak point in this 11, but still performing well. On it, is unplayable in this league.
CF: Rubin: Harsh on Joel but is fotmobs 16th best rated player in the whole of L1 (highest attacking from our club).
ST: Salech: Best striker in the league.
Osho & Joel are the two that just miss out for me; but current form are firmly in the 11.
Another in the 'BBM's done a TOP job' by getting some of these performing at their peak.

Agree with this, joe has put himself about more than wintle and has chipped in with a few goals

This is tough but
Trott
Ng osho chambers bagan
Joel Robertson
Tanner rubin willock
Kellyman

Trott
Ng, Lawlor, Chambers, Bagan
Tanner, Robertson, Kellyman, Joel, Willock
Salech

NG BAGAN TROTT still in every team

NG and BAGAN with contracts up at the end of the year!
Mon Feb 16, 2026 3:48 pm
Trott
NG Osho Chambers Bagan
Wintle
Kellyman Robertson Willock
R Colwill
Salech
Feels really harsh keeping Lawlor, Ashford and Tanner out of the side. I also don't rate Kellyman that much on the wing either...but gotta make room for him somewhere. How can you bench a player of that quality.
Mon Feb 16, 2026 4:23 pm
Quite surprised that a number have left out Salech from their teams
Can't personally pick a best 11 as so many variables we're in a great position with talent all over the field.

I left Saleh out because I think Kellyman plays BBM style of play much better.I think Salech is a great striker but Kellyman does seem to fit in better.
Nice problem tho

It just occurred to me, are Trott, NG, and Bagan nailed on because they are class or is it because they are the positions where we have the weakest cover?
A combination of both for me.

What a turn around from the start of the season.
It seemed we were mostly of the opinion that Lawlor and Fish should start every game and now it seems Chambers and Osho nearly irreplaceable.
If we go up, BBM needs to be tied down to a lengthy contract, with hefty clauses. He has done wonders to strengthen while under a tight budget.

This is very difficult but I think this team suits BBM's style best.
Trott
NG Chambers Lawler Bagan
Wintle Joel
Willock Rubin Tanner
Kellyman
I can't wait to see Joel and Rubin start together again.

Lawlor
Chambers
Bagan
J Colwill
R Colwill
Robertson
Tanner
Salech
Kellyman

I think we have 18 players who can all start without weakening the starting line up
And the best 11 would depend on who we are playing as certain players and tactics work better against different types of opposition

It's easy for me, I just think this is our most consistent 11 by a mile:
Trott
Bagan
Lawlor
Chambers
NG
Wintle
J.Colwill
Kellyman
Tanner
Willock
Salech
Key players I have left out are:
Osho - great to see him getting a good run of games at the right time so we haven't missed Lawlor too much. I put Osho well ahead of Fish now, but I just don't see how we can leave out a fully fit Lawlor.
Robertson - has been disappointing for me overall, very up and down and has nearly lost his head getting sent off early a couple of times. He's shown flashes of ability, but I expected far more from him at this level.
Turnbull - struggled early this season and I would have offloaded him, but the cup goal against Chelsea seems to have rejuvenated him and he's really started to show his class with some great goals lately. I hope he continues to prove me wrong. I have no problem with him starting for us at the moment.
Kpakio - is still learning and should probably be loaned to another League 1 club for experience if we get promoted.
Ashford - can't fault his effort and has contributed with some great moments, but it's no coincidence our form has picked back up since Tanner has returned and I think our left side combo of Bagan and Willock is too effective to disrupt.
Rubin - working his way back to full fitness and will be important, but there's no need to throw him straight back in too early to disrupt our good form.
Robinson - nothing more than an impact sub now sadly.

In my opinion I think the following should be our starting eleven:-
Trott
Ng Osho Lawlor Bagan
Wintle
J. Colwill R.Colwill
Tanner Kellyman Willock
Sun Feb 22, 2026 6:54 pm
I think this is our best side:-
Keeper - Trott
Right Back - Ng
Centre Half - Lawlor
Centre Half - Osho
Left Back - Bagan
Central Midfield- Robertson
Central Midfield- Joel Colwill
Att Central Midfield- Ruben Colwill
Right Wing - Tanner
Striker/False Number 9 - Kellyman
Left Wing - Willock
We need to start with Joel Colwill every game, he carries the ball very well, he works his arse off and wins free kicks for us. Plus he pops up with a goal now and then. I like Salech but we seem to play better with Kellyman at top. Hopefully we can sign him on loan again for next season in the Championship, hopefully with a view to a permanent signing if we get promoted to the Premier League
Sun Feb 22, 2026 6:56 pm
I think Wintle has to start we just got over run without him yesterday, he's not flashy but he breaks down so many opposition attacks

My opinion is unchanged from the team I've put earlier in this thread.
One poor performance hasn't changed anything for me. Agree that Wintle is important, had him in my original team. Big one I questioned at the time of this thread was leaving Kellyman out, just couldn't justify taking one of the other players out.
But he's in great form and hopefully that continues.

After scoring 16 goals in 5 games since Salech has been out and playing much more exciting football, I'm surprised anyone has put him in. Kellyman has been brilliant as striker and gets the best out of others around him.
