What was the award for?

Doing the most pointless and needless fancy tricks in the middle of the pitch I'm assuming.

Ned,

Now now, you’re so obsessed against Rubin, who is probably in our Top 3 players for Class.

I don’t understand your hatred towards him

Disappointing comment.

You should be setting an example as a moderator.

Not needlessly attacking our own players.

You're better than that.

Don't understand how anyone could want to put any of our players down anyone who pulls on the blue shirt has my 100% backing, having a player of rubins quality back for the run in will make a huge difference

I am SO disappointed in that comment. He is a very talented footballer, a local lad and gives his all. Also had a bad injury. You are better than that Worcester.

I feel the patience for some fans wore off, he burst on the scene, we all expected great things, then in his early 20s when you’d expect significant impact he had the 5 inch growth spurt that set him back.

His technical ability is clear to see, his run of games made him better this year and his vision, much like with Tanner, will improve more as game time tally’s up.

It’ll be interesting to see how he will slot in with our team doing quite well. I think it’s only fair he has to work his way back in, and shouldn’t be a default starter

And theres me thinking he's probably there tonight helping to show Cardiff City in a good light, giving a little something back to the community. Accepting an award and being a good role model to those wishing or thinking about studying something.

There really is no pleasing some people.

Agree with all of that. We all know he has ability and it's frustrating that he hasn't made the most of it yet.

Surprised I've had such a strong reaction to my comment, it's a criticism me and many others have said about him in the past. Apologies that it seemed to offend some people.

As you say, he won't walk back into this team. But if he consistently performs well and plays a part in us get promoted then we'll all be pleased.

I thought the same as Worcester last season but he and many others have shined under BBM.
Looking forward to his return :bluescarf:

Too many touchy posters on here. We all have our own options on players, managers etc.

Not so much touchy budd, by i and others have been hammered in the past for been negative and I have always thought rubin has had a bad time at cardiff but was playing his best football ever under murphy until his injury and thought the comment was not needed, and I have commented on Robinson before now and have been shot down.

I love what you’ve done here, makes a daft comment about one of our best players and suddenly the replies are full of support and praise. Love to see it. Well played

For someone who usually appreciates highly technical players like Robertson and others in that mould, I genuinely can’t understand how you can watch him, especially in a game like Wrexham away and not see just how talented he is.

Yes, his development dipped after that late growth spurt, but before the injury he and Castledine were widely regarded as two of the best players in League One.

I honestly can’t wait to see him back. He’ll have to work hard, no doubt, but all the talk is that he’s flying in training and when he returns, he could be huge for us. :bluescarf:

Uncalled for mate. Great ambassador for our club and our future permanent captain (in my opinion)

I doubt that. Every player has to work hard to get in the team.

No player has a right to play, including this player. He'll be on the bench at first and if he does well enough, then he'll start.

I agree I dont think rubin comes straight back in as Kellyman is on fire at the moment, but rubin coming on for the last 15 minutes against a tired defence is going to be a brilliant option to have

I have been verbally abused in the past for my opinions on Salech so I know exactly what it's like, so we both know what it's like to have petty posts about our opinions on a player, game, manager etc. Ned has his opinion on Rubin, I don't agree with him but it's his opinion and I respect it.

Award or not, I am a big Rubin Colwill fan and look forward to his return.
He has already proved himself as a special player who has the ability to do something special during difficult matches.
Like the majority, I look forward to his gradual return!

With you mate, this is very low by Worcester and no Cardiff City fan should turn on one of Our players like this who is only a good servant to City. Rubin is not big headers and loves City.

Worcester I will probably get banned, but you’ve gone to a new low.
Their is no need to do this and Rubin is not the most confident player,I dread if he reads your horrendous comments.

OMG! I can't believe the overall reaction on this thread to Ned's post. I love Rubin and think he's one of the most talented players we have and feel we are lucky to have him but some of these replies are way OTT.

This country has gone soft and is being taken over by snowflakes :old:
