Referee rating today

I have always said this vote is on a scale of one to ten.

Have to change it for this referee. Zero is an option and that's what I'm voting.

It's arguably the worst refereeing performance I have ever seen.

Can we put a -10 thought he was atrocious and really put our players at risk today,

Awful.

Missed 3 red cards of which 2 were blatent.

Missed several fouls both ways.

Missed 2nd yellows in two occaisions for professional fouls.

Stopped a very dangerous Stockport attack being in the total wrong position and back to play.

Shite.

A big fat zero, gutless ref

This was a scarily bad performance from a so called professional referee. They got away with some awful challenges and it was obviously a game that was way above his level of ability.

I have to agree. I rarely post but that was one of the worst refereeing performances I have seen in a long long time. Truly awful. Just hope the Salech injury is not as bad as it looks.

Just posted on the BBC HYS comments section, so far out of his depth. After the Salach injury he looked like a rabbit in car head lights at night. Too many wrong decisions to note, but I have as a club we make a complaint to the FL. And if there was a referee's assessor there today, I'd wan to see the report if I was BBM.

I gave him 2,purely as high as that for stopping play when they were breaking and the ball hit him and he stopped play when he should have let it carry on as they were in possession, could have been trouble for City if he let it carry on. 9 on

Zero, an absolute disgrace today, TWO deliberate elbows, one puts salech out for a while and the other on wintle, couldn't wait to card our players either

This was beyond any reasonable doubt, the most disgracefully inept, seemingly bias, confusing refereeing performance to date; and we’ve had a few poor ones!

My mate Rob, a high level referee in his time, suggested it was one of those games the referee is having such a mare, he can’t wait to blow the final whistle!

Stockport’s ‘agitator-in-chief’, no.33 Hills, took more than full advantage and had the referee in his pocket all game!

Sadly, I’m not sure this absolute disgrace to his profession has the ‘wherewithal’ to appreciate the levels to which he stooped in this game!

Lost the game in the first 10 minutes.

Definitely a zero didn't have a clue worst ref we've had this season and we've had a few!!!

I am not one for complaining about refs, but he ruined the game.

He decided he was going let a bit go, Stockport were physical, grabbing and grappling at every encounter and he was happy with it until Salech's injury, then he lost and guessed every decision.

The Wintle elbow was as clear an elbow as i have ever seen. He either saw it and a red or never and no card, how that was a yellow was beyond normal refereeing. He lost the game and wanted out.

I think this may be his highest game he'll be given. That was appalling

I was just thinking during the game. I don't watch a great deal of league one football outside of Cardiff games but do all clubs get stung with this sort of dog shit refereeing or do they save them especially for us? Poor from start to finish, only reason he stopped for Salech injury was that the Stockport players were shouting

The ref needs to be investigated and relegated to the non leagues.

It wasn't just a bad performance with wrong decisions, his decisions endangered our players.

The Salech incident I can forgive, every defender uses their elbows to create space for heading clearances and it was unfortunate the way he fell on Salech.

The elbow on Wintle however was assault, how the referee missed that was a mystery.

The ref seemed to book our player for every mistimed challenge, even if it was an innocuous trip.

When a Stockport player blatently tripped our player when running through, he didn't card them.

The way the game was reffed and what the ref allowed the Stockport players to get away with allowed the game to get out of control with Stockport continually assaulting our players.

I read Pieluigi Collina's book and he said he booked a player early on in a big game because the game started fiesty. Collina commanded authority with the booking, telling the players to calm down.

We needed a strong ref to manage the game and to manage the Stockport players. This ref spectacularly failed to do that, allowing Stockport to get away with everything.

league 1 refs are definitely worse than championship refs.

The worse ref i have seen at the stadium for many a year,
completely ruined the game, cardiff should complain and get a review of it ,that ref is a liability to players safety absolutly shocking ,That defender was out to cancel salec out of the game at all costs and he succeeded.

Honest to god if I had a gun I would of shot that f*cking ref right in the head , A lot of us were really wanting to run on the pitch at the inept f*cking clown

Clueless and completely inept. Should be ashamed to receive any payment for that "performance".
