We should be pulling over 20,000 now at this stage of the season, top of the league drawing with the team in 2nd, beating the team in 3rd, now playing the team in 4th we should all be buzzing by now and what a contrast to last season now we cannot wait for the next game and us fans deserve some happiness after the what we were put through particularly last season it was a hard watch but it's a joy now looking forward to setting off sat 7am.

After a week of immense negativity, I sincerely hope Saturday’s win at high-flying Bradford City, will focus a few minds on the matter in hand; BBM and his team giving us one of, if not the best seasons in recent times!
There will be a lot of questions on the future come this summer, but we first need to galvanise and back our team to the title and automatic promotion that they (BBM and his squad) so richly deserve!
I can see in excess of 20k but not too much more. However, in true tradition, crowds will increase as the ‘glory’ moves closer, and the hard work and slog of the 35 - 40 games before are narrowed to a 5 - 10 game season!

Totally agree, team deserve a good crowd.
Will help them too for what is another tough match.

the more we get closer to the end of the season then more fans will attend.

Finally No more excuses now about why Crowds are not bigger etc it’s early stages, Xmas Shopping, fans not convinced etc etc

Now there’s a ‘
target’ for our lot to chase down!
The positive is that we have the stadium to help the cause, once the ‘
floaters’ decide to join in!

The crowds won't improve this season because most of the games are a hard watch. Not a dig at the style or keeping the ball too much almost every team comes to us, puts 11 behind the ball and hopes they can get something. That's not going to produce exciting football 9 times out of ten

Richy I have tried my best to get more through the gate by encouraging as many to attend each game yes it's costly it is for lots annis flies over lots in this country travel distances mines a round trip of 5 hours but I love going to live games will be there sat then away at burton but I drive as there are no coaches coming my way that's why I missed Bradford mate could' nt travel and missis not to good, but we should be aiming for 25,000 by now not 20 ,anyway see you Saturday and hopefully a lot more fans.

We all deserve to be in amongst a crowd like the chelsea game ,which i did' nt attend as i did' nt like all the fairweather glory hunters so stayed away but that's a personal thing ,but was there the game before and after ,yes not everyone can do every game I cannot mid week is awkward for me with work, but fans that want to attend will as much as possible because they love the cityand the game ,
not got much time for the once a year fans such as the chelsea or swansea games if you love a packed house and great atmosphere be a part of it by attending ,ok its league 1 not the prem but we are playing so well,
back the team ,the manager, and the loyal fans, be a part of it join it or rejoin it the red thing has long gone, and forget tan and the goons , just stand with your fellow bluebirds and let's get out of this miserable division no disrespect to the other teams, and get back to the championship and push on.

All the hard watch games were last season under bulut and riza, we are a million miles from that period and still improving with sod all backing from above to date.

The last 3 home games Exeter, Stevenage and Wigan all a tough watch. Love BBM the football is great to watch if your playing a team like Bradford who are playing to win. It's a real slog when teams are coming to us looking for a point, it also kills the atmosphere.

Disagree, winning football brings in crowds. We keep winning and the glory hunters will come along.

I can’t agree with that! The players are more than ding their bit and the goals scored of late have been pretty spectacular on more than one occasion!
The game doesn’t ruin the atmosphere at the CCS; it’s the attending supporters (not all but most) who generally don’t get behind the team from the off, and want to be spoon-fed success!
As I said, it’s not the players or the style (IMHO) and we will look back on this season as one of the better in recent years; particularly when/if we clinch promotion back to the Championship!

Mate, I always mix the 2 up for some reason. Think it’s because they both begin with L and play in Red

Chris I think unless we are in the premier then we won’t get more than 22-23k down there ,
But that might happen again soon we never know ,
I actually am really enjoying this league and loving the football played , apart from the teams who come here and park bus .
Hopefully see you Saturday for a pint bud ,

Agree.
As for teams sitting back against us, I can't see Stockport doing that. They need to win if they want a chance of winning the title.
But as we've all said, the team deserve a good crowd and I hope there's a decent amount there.
Mon Jan 19, 2026 12:05 am
Just over 20,000
Let’s have a roll call for who’s going and who’s not
I’ll be there
Mon Jan 19, 2026 9:02 am
I’ll be there +3.
BBM and the team deserve it to be as full as possible.
Unfortunately the early kick off and being on sky will reduce numbers.
Tue Jan 20, 2026 9:28 am
Around 20,000.
Probably around that amount while we remain in league one, except for a match which could result in promotion, ot the league one title at the end of the season.
Even then, I'm not sure we'd come close to selling out at this level.
Tue Jan 20, 2026 10:29 am
Historically, our crowds are pretty healthy for the level we are at, and myself and others will recall crowds as low as 2-3k in the same league pre-Sam
However, one of the issues we modernly have, is a half-empty stadium that was built for bigger/better things than where we currently are!
The Chelsea and Wales games prove what might be achieved when/if we get to the top again. We just need to get there!
Tue Jan 20, 2026 10:42 am
Will say 22,000 but stockport how many fans coming from there for a 12.30 kick off not many i doubt.
Tue Jan 20, 2026 10:57 am
I will be there, hoping for a decent crowd.

100% we should be getting at least 22000 crowds at this stage of the season. As the season progresses though they will gradually increase
