Calum Chambers had an issue with his glutes the day before Leyton Orient, he hasn't trained so he's a genuine 50/50.

As much as 3 points would be brilliant I think its more important not to lose as it will keep Bradford at arms length

I won't be able to watch this game at all due to previously arranged plans, so hope to see we've got a result of some sort later in the day.

Won't be easy though.

Bradford fans already saying it's their biggest game in years so expect it will be an intense atmosphere. Normally a great atmosphere there anyway.

Their players will see it as a big opportunity for them too.

Would definitely be pleased with a draw.

I don't think we are playing well enough at the moment.
The last few games have been a struggle

Really hope BBM gets the players up for this one as we need retribution for the hammering they give us at our place, if we win I'd be very confident that we will be going up come may

Mind set is the thing for this game if we convince ourselves we will be lucky to get a point we probably will be,
murphy needs to get into the players heads a this week and fire them up that we need revenge for them beating us at home 3 1 really need to take it to them overpower them full assault in my book, no holding back go for 3 points, going there with fear in our heads will not be helpful but expect a cup final 2 teams 11 players each no advantage lets hit them hard.

Praying for a win which would really put us in a dominant position but going for a draw.

I expect this game to be quite an open one. Whichever team are more clinical will win, and that’s sadly why I think we’ll lose.

Start on the front foot get at them straight away like we did at Wycombe and no nonsense at the back and we get the result we want COME ON CITY!!!

I would say one of the most important games. Win that game and we will have a big gap from the teams in the playoffs.

Biggest game of our season so far for me, not just coz it's Bradford and they are in the promotion race, but because it would create that gap between us and 3rd. You could throw in revenge too after what happened at our place.

You could play this down coz there are 20+ games to go...but I wanna see BBM and his players proper go for this one. Show us just how much fight, grit and passion do these players (and the manager) have.

This game could be good practice incase we find ourselves in the play-offs and not the auto's.

Roughly what i was saying murphy needs to get them fired up for this we must learn to stand up to the top teams we failed at home to Bradford lost to Lincoln lets make a statement Saturday.

Re: LATEST NEWS " BRADFORD CITY v CARDIFF CITY " MATCH THREA

Sun Jan 11, 2026 6:50 pm

I don't think we'll have a tougher game than this for the rest of the season.

Already played Lincoln, Bolton, Stockport and Luton away. Yes, we have to play them at home but obviously easier to play them at home than away. Played Stevenage home and away.

So after Bradford, the only one of the current top eight we have to play away is Huddersfield.

So if we came away from this without losing then could stand us in great stead for the rest of the season.

Buzzing for this one and great news for colwill bak mid feb , I really thought he was out for season ,
I think this game is crucial to pick the right players and if kellyman is injured then that will be a huge miss for Saturday , he is heads above at the moment and I don’t like to say it but if osho is playing then we will lose .
Thats my prediction , so strongest team please Brian :bluebird:

I would go with NG fish Lawlor bagan at the back Wintle Robertson and Joel midfield 3 if Kellyman is out Ashford and tanner wide Salech up top that's our best 11 with those fit in my opinion we need to go for the throat from the first whistle Bradford are not that great if they go behind, score early and they may crumble

Think it will be same result as home game, we aren't good against the better teams unfortunately, 2-0 Bradford.

Hope you’re missing it for a good reason, Ned

I would hope our players see it as a ‘big opportunity’ for themselves, too!

An opportunity to keep a rival at bay!

I always hope for a win, but a draw wouldn’t be a poor result as it stands! :ayatollah:

Bradford City are reportedly in talks over a loan deal for Manchester United forward Ethan Wheatley.
Graham Alexander’s squad is looking lighter in the forward department following the departure of club legend Andy Cook, who has joined Grimsby Town on loan.

However, it appears the Bantams will be looking to get a replacement through the door before the closure of the January transfer window.

According to Sky Sports reporter Luca Bendoni, Bradford are holding talks with Premier League giants Manchester United over Wheatley.

Re: LATEST NEWS " BRADFORD CITY v CARDIFF CITY " MATCH THREA

This comes from The Mail’s Craig Hope, who reports that Harrison Ashby and Joe White could be heading to the EFL.

He reveals that the pair are in talks over a January switch to Bradford City, who are currently third in League One and pushing for automatic promotion to the Championship.

Ashby, 24, is thought to be available for permanent transfer, as we shared last week, but another loan move appears to be in the offing after previous spells in the Championship with QPR and Swansea.

As for White, the 23-year-old was recalled from a loan spell at Leyton Orient earlier this month and needs game time at senior level, with his contract at Newcastle entering its last 18 months this year.

It could be a good opportunity for Ashby to play regularly given his previous experience in the Championship, but it will be interesting to see if White gets enough minutes after struggling for starts at Leyton Orient, who are 15 places lower than Bradford in League One.
