I would play salech and robbo time to start on the front foot I'm going for another win 2-0 to the BLUBIRDS, COME ON CITY!!!

Hopefully we have two up top as we are at home nowidea why he plays one isolated at home every time unless we are losing only then does he change stuff which is rare really anyway. I'm going for a 3-0 comfortable win as we should be beating these. I'll be there with my boys as usual

We should really be winning this game.

Mansfield are a typical mid table team and I expect that's where they'll finish. Won't be in a relegation fight but won't be troubling the top six either.

TEAM NEWS - Mansfield ...

Max Dickov will be out for a couple of weeks with an ankle injury.

Rhys Oates has had a scan on his hamstring after being withdrawn against Huddersfield last weekend. The forward is expected to miss ‘a few weeks’ of action, Nigel Clough revealed on Tuesday.

Regan Hendry, Luke Bolton and George Maris will all also miss the Cardiff fixture.

Going to be a fascinating afternoon. Mansfield will park the bus and break on us. The model is out there, we struggle to break down teams.

Whether BBM has this rigid formation of wide forwards being very wide to give Rubin more space in the middle will be found out this afternoon. We'll have to change as Rubin is a unique player who works very hard off the ball, steals a fair bit, rarely gives it away, and draws opposition players to him.

Massive day for Robinson as he must believe he should start, if he doesn't, then that may be a biggie for BBM to manage

I want Davies as we need goals and give their back 4 something different to think about; raw pace !!!
Ashford will work hard, and i am convinced he is better in the closed space of the centre rather than the openness of the flank.
Robertson will mean Turnbull starting, and that's a disaster, and Kellyman has proved little to me.

Its very early in his city career, but i think this may be a defining day for BBM. I am in the Pep is a unique genius and can't be imitated camp. I want BBM to show he has developed his own stuff like Arteta and Meresca based upon the Pep principle, but adapted to their surroundings. Rubin would have been definitely in the running on L1 player of the season (with Trott), so let's see how he adapts with life without him.

Two up top please today that's what I want to see not this 2 hugging each touchline with the full back and winger tippy tappy boring stuff with 1 in 30 crosses coming in the box. We need to put them to the sword early hopefully and have a comfortable win
