I don’t get some city fans honestly, we aint Real Madrid ffs.
We are a club that has been run terribly for years, with next to no investment in the playing squad. We deserved to go down not last year, but the year before but luck was on our side.

There has been very limited investment this year AGAIN, yet we are in the quarter finals of the cup, 4th in league one with a game in hand yet people are slating the manager! What more do people want? It’s baffling.

Let’s not forget how many youngsters from the academy are playing in this team. The likes of Lawler, Joel Colwill, Kpakio are having this first break through seasons at this club and are playing excellent.

If someone told me this is the position we would be in at the start of the season I would have bit their hands off.
Yes it was a bad result. But it’s a long season!! Let’s not panic.

I think we would all be happier with some consistency in results. But we ain't far off the top .

I think it's far too early to point the finger at BBM. We are still in a healthy league position and had a good league cup run.
However, I can't help pointing the finger at the way the team has performed in recent weeks over each 90 minutes and have to question whether one or two are good enough to take us up.
It's up to the manager with the support of the owner to rectify this in the transfer windows

Some of the stuff written on here is unbelievable.

Annis you in particular would find fault if Klopp came back into management for us.

Under the circumstances with no real investment in players and half the team in their 1st senior season.

As it's been said 1/4 final of the cup and in a great position in the league most sensible supporters would settle for that at the moment.

A few disappointing results yes, but under BBM some of the best football played since the Dave Jones' era

Yesterday's game was a mixed bag I thought 1st half. Where we dominated parts but little end product which seems to be a regular thing of late. But when attacking well we look dangerous. 1 or 2 earlier shots we need Joel was guilty of over playing before shooting on couple occasions. Salech again constantly ragged by defender without anything given. But when ball was broken down our midfield was wide open and massive gaps exposed in centre of the park. Which is where I think we needed Wintle on.
From the stands we looked huge gaps rather than more structure to the middle.
I'm still very much in favour of BBM but do feel we are very inconsistent of late and constantly tinkering the team is also contributing to this I feel

Our fans expect way too much and feel entitled to walk this league.

We may have had a bad run recently, but win our game in hand and we are back to top of the league.

BBM is the best manager we have had in years, support the team/manager when they need us most.

We have to trust the process, he is building something.

It took Arteta 2-3 years to get things right at Arsenal, I'd be willing to give BBM that long to get us firing - then I think we'll fly.

Trott - people claim to be the best goalkeeper in the league.

Chambers - an experienced PL player

Ng - proven solid championship RB

Osho - proven championship + Ligue 1 player

Turnbull - cost 3m(?) decent player for Celtic with Europe and CL experience

Wintle - experienced championship player

Rubin - people claim to be too good for league 1

Robertson - brilliant in this league with pompy

Willock - experienced championship player

Salech - people claimed to be too good for league 1

Robinson - proven

Then you have players like Lawlor, Kpakio, Will Pysgod, Joel Colwill getting massive plaudits.

If you look at our team ON PAPER we should be good enough to win this league. There’s a lot of proven and expensive players there for league 1. For whatever reason some of these are not performing to standards they’ve set before. Is it playstyle? Management? Or have they just been over estimated?
