It's getting tight now and we along with murphy can see we need replacements even rubin is not going to play every game ,
My only criticism of the team is rubin is the only one who runs with the ball and makes things happen by doing so ,
Just passing it around does not have the same effect.
I think we need at least 4 to come in a runner like rubin a winger for tanner and cover at the back but NG will be back soon. Robertson don't know what's going on there with him.

Monty totally agree , it’s only a matter of time till we have Injury’s , plus Tanner last night , and Rubin seems to be struggling on the week games ,
Desperate for some quality strong additions with 4 games played and still nothing

When did everyone get so sensitive?

I don’t think anyone has said we don’t need new signings, nor do I think that even if someone does it’ll have any influence on whether we get them or not.

We’ve already shown we’ve got a half decent squad, I personally think we need more in, but not just for the sake of bringing some in. We are in a lower division, we will struggle to attract anyone decent at this stage, we may have more chance in January.

Me saying this doesn’t mean that’s what will happen, but if we suddenly go out and sign 5 players from the national league I’d be more worried than if we just sign nobody. I think we at the very least need a winger, especially with Tanner out it’s just further exposed our weakness

It will only be some unknown younger one or two on loan anyway or some washed up freebie as a supposed "quality" signing let's be realistic if it happens of course. Bbm is just doing as he's told that's what he's paid for to keep the peace even if the people above are paid liars. He's also got no say in keeping daland his hands are tied they want him off the wages that's the bottom line. Like I've said I'd except the club saying look we are skintos spending ziltch this season and going with what we got and younger ones. It won't stop me from going or being a fan same as many others. Id rather this than bullshit we are going for promotion talk and "exceptional quality" signings talk from BBM and the club

We should all be questioning where these quality signings are.

With 14 already left (probably more to leave) and 1 incoming, is a big worry.

This is a long season, we need more depth.

We are doing well, but we will not get through the season with this squad, we need cover at LB, CB and LW.

What quality are you expecting a League One club to sign?!

I'd expect some players of at least League 1 quality or preferably even a bit better than League 1 quality if we have genuine promotion ambitions.

So far we've signed nobody except a goalie.

yes very concerned happy with what we have at the moment but we will not have this starting 11 every week ,
lawlor has been booked twice already 1 more and he is suspended,as an example of needing new recruits.

Great save yesterday after having very little to do, he looks like a great addition.

Keeper looks the most solid we have had in 10 years so far.

Injuries and suspensions were always going to be our achillies heel if we fail to add more bodies to the squad

If we could play the same 14 players every game I believe we finish top 2, sadly football isn't like that and our lack of depth will hurt us as the season goes on

I still believe we will end up bringing in 3 or 4 players and wouldn't be surprised if we have one of the busiest deadline days for a fair while

One week left – time to get a move on.

Positives: he’s got a good style of play and strong contacts, which should help persuade top clubs to loan us some real talent in the future.

His assistant (number two or three) is also a European talent scout, so hopefully he’s busy working both markets. With a bit of luck, we’ll see four new signings through the door next week.

He needs to tell Tan it's doable with a few more; otherwise, he doesn't think the squad is deep enough to maintain a whole season promotion push.

I am still hopeful we’ll get two or three in. I would also like to think at least one of those will be an experienced physical centre back. However I am getting more anxious as the window goes on, I’m almost more desperate for good signings now as I’ve seen how well we are doing so far as with the right additions to this young squad we could have a real go. I trust Bbm so will believe what he says. I also think it’s interesting that no one we released has got a new club. None of the experienced lads anyway as far as I saw
