“ Two New Players “

BBM has been told he can’t buy.

So he has gone for two young Manchester City players on loan and there had been a few hiccups along the way.

I personally don’t see us needing any more younger players.

We need tough, quality older heads and leader included.

I’m happy to have these Young Man City players in / BUT We still need Tough lower league players as well.

We just need a few more bits of quality.

Will give every new player a chance that comes in and I'll back them from the start.

I'm not as dead set as others that they have to be tough, experienced players. People make out this league is far more physical than it actually is.

I'll trust whoever the manager brings in.

Yes.

Have you not seen previous Man City players who went out on loan for their first proper chance at starting first team football?

Alex Robertson for example when he went to Pompey on loan, was quality in this league.

Josh Wilson-Esbrand. Who our fans loved when he was on loan.

James McAtee. Went on loan to Sheffield United and is now being sold for £25m.


I could go on and on, but this proves my point.

I am presuming the two are Wilson Esbrand and Emilo Lawrence. What I remember about Esbrand was he struggled a bit physically but hes very quick. We certainly need a left full back. Emilo Lawrence could be very interesting to add to our forward line.

This is majorly concerning, if what he said at the Barry Meet and greet is his true thoughts.

Yes there best quality kids from the academy are not going to championship sides, they are coming to 3rd division cardiff to get lumps kicked out of them and learn to play hoofball.

For once I agree with Monty blue mere. I’m no saying the young loans will not be quality but they will not be ours. As a result our assets get worse and worse, weaker and weaker. With loans you are expected to play them even though that not be in the clubs interest. I bet you BBM was not told he could not buy players.

Harry Wilson is an example of the type that could come out of this relationship (he was Liverpool, I'm aware of that..). Now I'm still in the idea of us needing some experience, but shutting down a connection to one of the best academies in the world (and having recently working experience, so knows the great from the good) is bonkers.

Some wouldn't have L1 experience because they are a cut or two above it. Hopefully BBM gets those lot due to his relationship.

Tan is the problem he thinks he can get promotion on the cheap and whilst I still think we will be in and around the play offs, we need to add to the squad as injuries and suspensions will hurt us as the season progresses

Trying to be positive, young players can still have a bit of fight about them. They can still play with tenacity and determination and have good leadership skills...and with the Man City youngsters, you'd assume those attributes are a given. They'd only dish out professional contracts to the best of the best.

Would still love (and much prefer) a couple of hardened 'been there and done it' league 1 stalwarts though. That's what we are crying out for.

I just can't believe there is no money to spend. Not a dime. It's so demoralising!!! We've been relegated for the first time in 20+ years and Tans not willing to invest. He's seen the clubs net worth half overnight, yet he's not willing to spend just a little to get us out of this mess. It's just crazy.

This is shocking we have gone from takeover deal accepted and a buzz around the place , to the 3 cunty clowns staying and no money for signings. Why don’t Dalman give up his interest rates why not cost cut in other areas sack Choo the useless car salesman too.

This league is nowhere near as physical as some make out, it's not that different to the Championship.

These young players will add quality, as the manager promised.

He said "I will bring in quality" and this is what these players represent.

I'll trust the manager's judgement and just laugh at people who are laying into the manager over this.
