Yes I was told something very similar this morning with someone who was with Bale :bluebird: :bluescarf:

Do the right thing VT and sell the club.

Come on tan do what's right

I'm definitely taking the 0 signings as a good sign a deal could be close as tan won't want to fork out any money if he will be gone soon

Please be true and done quickly :occasion5:

Message for Tan - all the above are easily translated into a simple instruction: Foxtrot Oscar, On Yer Bike, Jog On, Do One, Make yourself scarce. Just get out of CCFC, you've long outstayed your welcome and have drained the club of its soul.

Hopefully the two parties can meet somewhere in the middle.

Hopefully they can meet in the middle but I fear that Tan may be the sort who wants his price & that's the end of it, no willingness to negotiate.

I’m probably in the minority, but the distinct lack of transfers suggest a sale is imminent.

Don’t forget , the rumblings of a potential sale has been circulating for at least two months :bluescarf:

I was thinking exactly the same mate.

It's certainly possible, isn't it, or will Tan try and back BBM and give it one push to get up first and see if he can push the price up?

As the old saying goes, ‘slowly, slowly, catchy monkey!

If nothing else comes of it (hopefully it will) it may draw other ‘interested parties’ out? :ayatollah:

Note: (No offence intended. It simply means ‘patience and caution are key to achieving a goal’)

I will just keep watching the news to see if it happens, no point building the hopes up and if it comes off will raise a glass and say "selamat tinggal", the king is dead, long live the new king" :bluebird:

Andrew, that all makes sense, mate; and we live in hope!

But dare we dream?

I’m too mistrusting of the one party involved (I can’t mention names because Mr Tan wouldn’t like it! ;) ) not to keep my feet firmly planted on the ground but I fully agree that ‘something’ is not right at the moment and for me, Mehmet Dalman’s continued absence/silence is telling

I will say that Annis said some months ago (well before relegation) that there was going to be a ‘big upheaval this Summer’ and this just might be it!

We can only watch and hope! :ayatollah:

No Alnwick? Anyone know why?

I can't take the suspense, it's agonising. Can you imagine finally ridding this club of that man. It would feel like winning promotion to the premier league. Not that things will change over night with him gone but the chains will finally be off, the weight gone. And hopefully we'll be left with proper football men making good, sensible, common sense football decisions...that's all we've ever wanted!

I think this is probably the final offer from them, at least for now, they would have made one or two official bids, spoke on numbers and getting to the max Bale and the investors are willing to commit, no doubt will be negotiating how much debt to Tan they will pay back as part of this deal over time and how that will be etc.., and Dalman. also have many details to iron out.

I don’t think this is a deal that will be completed before the transfer window ends, so if it’s holding up transfers that is worrying, but speculation of a sale must be having some kind of impact.

We have not herd Gareth update the media again, he did say more will come out soon, but nothing so far, but hopefully they can get a deal done that is fair for them, and Tan gets some of his investment back, there was zero chance of it all of course.

Maybe getting ahead of myself here, but if its were to happen before or during the season, could our badge be changed straight away?

Re: “ New bid from Gareth Bale “

Mon Jul 07, 2025 4:40 pm

I too hope this is true, but my uncertainty comes with the fact that Tan does not know the meaning of fair or 'constructive dialogue' with interested parties...

IF and at the moment a big IF this deal comes to fruition, does anyone know how long would it take for the EFL to make a decision on the fit and proper rules required, and any other vetting of the prospective owners? Would it be likely to be completed before the transfer window closes?

If Tan doesn't except a deal then every single fan should protest and boycott the ground. He will then have no choice but to sell.Surely the most loyal Tan supporters can see the damage he is doing to our club and his situation is untenable no matter how much you want to support the club/team. There is no future under Tan, just failure. :bluescarf:

you're spot on about boycotting the ground. If everyone stays away and the stadium is empty, then that will make Tan think big time. :bluebird:

There you go again! I ask you (again), who are these (quote you), these “most loyal Tan supporters”? :?

Go on, name them; or give it a rest!

Which is untrue.

So you can’t name them, then?!

I thought not, which is why you shouldn’t make statements like that!

It does you no credit and demeans the fact that the vast majority (allowing for the odd dissenter) actually want Tan to go! :ayatollah:
