This is one of the most important appointments in Cardiff City’s recent history.

“We’ve been immensely impressed by the standard of those who wish to lead our football club. We are excited to share a further positive update soon regarding the appointment of a new management team once the necessary negotiations have been concluded.

“Tan Sri Vincent Tan, Mehmet Dalman, Ken Choo, our board of directors and I wish to place on record our thanks to Gavin Chesterfield, Mark Allen and the Wasserman Agency.”

If the rumours of BBM are true and that's the best you can come up with then the whole club is a laughing stock of a shambles.

I take it that nobody cared that No players have been signed, no pre season arranged, no hint of new kit, the only club not to releasenits retained list. Hey, at least Tan didn't have to pay him for May and may only need to pay him a portion of June ( if indeed he is appointed by then?!)

Totally agree with you Jonny, it's utter bullshit. It's been 2 months since Riza was sacked and we've heard nothing. The trust release an open letter and Borley replies with this........hmmmmm

Bowley is just putting up a reply to try and appease the anger of the fans. And it tell us nothing. There is not a great field to choose from, the only EFL club not to say the retained list, no pre season arranged, no signings made , nothing about kit. And yet they are well happy to say the season tickets are back on sale. Well they can bog off I shan’t renew until there is positive news. I know I’m cutting off my nose etc but enough is enough. All Hierachy are scared and bow down to Tan. It’s embarrassing. So an announcement is ‘soon’. OMG - what does soon mean?

Without the disquiet that's been getting louder and louder over the last few days, that statement would never have been released.

It's adds nothing to what we already don't know.

One day will be the day before an announcement is made. It could be today, it could be tomorrow. It could also be in a few weeks time.

We're still none the wiser.

Its still a total SHAMBLES and i personally wont forgive any of them. " Surrounded by Fools and Idiots " !!! I admire EVERY ONE OF YOU though who have stood their ground against this lot !!!

That I obviously can't answer for everyone but personally I'd like to have heard weeks ago how the interviewing process was going, who was on the player retained list, what friendlies are being arranged, when the new kit was going to be revealed........ basically normal news that supporters want to hear from their club. But then, we're not run like an ordinary football club are we?

Yeah I agree with that.

This decision has taken far too long and Ken Choo has done a bad job.

There should have been more communication earlier.

The only point I was making is that the Trust and others asked for a statement and they got one. It was always going to be worded like that.



But despite all this, I'm actually pleased with the end result - if it is to be BBM.

It was great following the City in the late 60's and throughout the 70's You ask any old Cadiff Fan and they will tell you the 70's was a fabulous time to support this Club ! Jimmy Scoular, the Real Madrid game, The whole team and supporters were TOGETHER , on and off the field
