No wonder they don’t listen to you or your committee of people.
You wanted feedback the other day, which has been given not only by me but by a lot of other people also about how certain people consistently call other people names/make comments about groups etc.
And here is another example.
I’m not a Tan lover. I want him gone.
But I’m not going to be part of what is turning into a (for want of a better word) cult, against people and groups who don’t either agree, or share the same views as to how things should be handled.

This is the sort of thing that doesn't do any good
I know lots of trust and supporters club members have marched against tan before
The people who scoffed at us during the first march many years ago against Ridsdale were club officials up in the top level of the stadium
Try not to drag yourself into punch and judy name calling it happens on all sides of this situation and its a complete waste of time

Can I assume then that you don't have an idea on how to get rid of Tan but you are more than happy to criticise those that do have an idea and want to protest. Surely you can see that protesting is better than doing nothing and shows that those protesting care about their club and want the best for it and its supporters.
And I totally agree with you, there does need to be unity amongst all Cardiff city supporters and until someone comes up with a better Idea than protesting, I want every Cardiff fan to stand with those of us who choose to protest in order to get Tan out.

Mike, I am not against protesting, I simply stated that I didn’t believe it was a good idea to protest on a random Monday night in the off season.
I also am not criticising people for the work that they are putting in, I commend everyone who is putting work in for the cause however there are a few things which I am not keen on, namely the name calling if people disagree with certain ways of things being done.
As for ideas - I’ve suggested a few previously but they either got buried under the comments on a thread or were deemed to be not good enough.

I have been on most of the protests but those that don't attend or are not trust members or are not FAB members or are not supporters club members should not be told that they don't care about the club because they don't attend every March or every trust meeting or have every single home kit since 1970
I am being sarcastic there but I hope you get that its better for people who think a protest is good to go on that protest and those that want to get the trust to tell the board to get a grip ....such as that latest letter....are both the same.....CCFC fans
Cheers

TBH I wasn't after a genius idea, just your opinion because you are against protesting.
I hope you will be there by our side on the next protest.
Cheers
I have not mentioned the trust, supporters club or fab, but since you brought them up, why are they not vocally supporting the protest? They are there to represent us fans but besides a couple of letters they have done nothing to challenge the board. It's left up to others to organise protests and marches and has done for years including the infamous rebrand.

And this will not happen as they are full of Tan apologists and prawn sandwich eaters smirking at us from the windows while we protested. No doubt happy to be red so their boy Tan can feed us millions to waste on shite, we are in League 1 FFS!!!!! 54 days without a manager!!!!
SHOULD WE WRITE A LETTER TO THE TRUST AND FAB TO ASK THEM TO DO A SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY?
They wouldnt dare
No wonder they don’t listen to you or your committee of people.
You wanted feedback the other day, which has been given not only by me but by a lot of other people also about how certain people consistently call other people names/make comments about groups etc.
And here is another example.
I’m not a Tan lover. I want him gone.
But I’m not going to be part of what is turning into a (for want of a better word) cult, against people and groups who don’t either agree, or share the same views as to how things should be handled.
I know that you are against protesting and don't agree with people when they air their views for the protests or against Cardiff fans who won't protest.
You say you want tan gone, and this is a genuine question, how do you think getting rid of tan should be "handled"?
I don’t have any genius ideas I’m afraid, I never claimed to have.
But what I do believe and I’ll stand by, is that there needs to be unity amongst supporters.
Unity isn’t going to be achieved with comments like those made by tangledupinblue and others calling people Tan Lovers etc.

I was one of about twenty fans who met in the old ninian pub when the rebound was first announced , it was organised by the owner of this forum so I can assure you a lot of us from the old days put our necks on the block trying to stand up to the shirt change and got the phone call abuse to go with it
My general point which was made in my last post has been reinforced by your response unfortunately....why aren't the trust doing this or that etc
Its this sort of thing that's going to ensure when it comes to uniting the fan base.....we have absolutely no fkg chance

Yes
I would assume that they at present prefer to try and engage with the club
The last two letters suggest that this approach is being reconsidered with a more direct response to what is , we all agree , a right old fudge
The question that some city fans ask is maybe protesting directly is not the way that a democratically elected fans group is there to do
Its perfectly possible to support the trustand its less direct approach and that of marches etc
I think that's fine and reasonable and I don't understand why so many people are so convinced that either a March or meetings with the club or letters should be mutually exclusive
It doesn't have to be one or the other and if the trust back a March organised by someone else and the turn out isn't great then what's next ?
