Every manager recruitment, which we have had plenty of experience in the process, we seem to be the slowest in the pyramid.

At this stage, it's a common theme. It's a consistent. We WILL change managers at least once a year... so why the f**k are we so slow at it?

My point of view is that our fans talk and complain but do nothing. I cannot think of another reason why people will complain and moan and want him gone, yet wont do anything about it. Therefore I think it is fair, in my opinion to say, if you dont do anything about it like a simple signature, then your happy to continue as is?

The 'Fit and proper' angle could very much have been better, but the whole purpose was to bring his running of the club to the attention of the footballing world. Unfortunately mate I think by seeing the results of your petition it shows the apathy among our fans.
It also shows that most are content with what we’ve got. The numbers don’t lie.

I had a quick look on the board that Roath Blue mentioned and it seems that most didn’t agree with the ‘fit & proper’ thing and wouldn’t sign because of that. It’s obvious he passes that angle with flying colours.
It was completely the wrong thing to put in a petition you wanted signed.

I wonder if they could agree a simple performance related deal. That gives him a basic wage commensurate with his current newbie status. With incremental bonuses for top half, top six, and top 2 finish. That way he initially gets paid for what he is, but would also get paid for what he achieves.
I’m not a lover of high basic salaries purely for promised performance.
