“I wish to acknowledge the open letter that has been issued by our Supporters’ Trust. We hear your words and I share your hurt and frustration. Not all decisions when it comes to the First Team have worked as I had hoped for us.”

To lose our place in the Championship is upsetting. The important thing is that we regain it at the earliest opportunity and I would like to take this chance to tell you that I am committed to getting us back. A period of review is being undertaken; a permanent manager and management team will be appointed in the coming weeks.

To say I don’t care is wrong and I strongly push back on that. I watch every game and speak to the Board and manager before and after each one. My family will tell you: I kick every ball!

We have enjoyed good times together. I can tell all Cardiff City supporters that it is my intention to support correcting the situation we find ourselves in. I want us to all pull in the same direction.

In all seriousness though, how many times have we been told there is a plan and a direction? Not once have any of the board or Tan followed through with their promises.

A new manager and management team, but is it an actual manager or a Venezuelan bar tender who previously managed a Sunday league team?

He mentions the word plan again, well I just have no faith in him to put the right things in place for us to bounce straight back.

He constantly says that he has a plan but we always knew there was no plan - that has been confirmed now we're in League One.

Hopefully I'm wrong, but I can't see much changing going into next season with Vincent Tan making the big decisions.

His plan is to have no plan.

Words are easy, let’s see some positive actions for once.

No more waiting until it's too late to make the right decisions, we need the correct decisions implemented ASAP, before we drop even further down the leagues.

If Tan is committed he needs to do several things, sell his 49% stake in FC Sarajevo and sell FC Kortrijk. Once he’s done those he needs to work with Rambo and see what will be the ideal structure and have faith it will work.

He needs to dissolve the transfer committee unless the new manager has an input along with the footballing structure, Tans involvement should be as far as the money is concerned, leave it to those who know.

If he can do this and put his money where his empty promises are then fans will start to get behind him again as we all care about this club.

The last thing he needs to do is to start regularly attending home matches and engage with fans, even if it is only once a month

The first decision he should make is for him not to make ANY football related decisions in the future!!

This is the response i was dreading and half expecting.

The spinning cycle of no accountability, no humility, no emotional connection, but worst of all not acknowledging things need changing and implementing change. The core problem is there for all to see. Tan Out fans, fence sitters and Tan apologists, it’s businessmen making football decisions, we need football men in and Tan to keep out and make them accountable, that’s why we are in the third division, all this top 6 God willing bollocks. Until Tan acknowledges and accepts responsibility for no review in our third from bottom season two years ago, and now the humiliation in our 125th year of a one club capital city team in the third tier, then this message is a waste of ink. It smacks of the spinning cycle that keeps on spinning. And letting these inexperienced cheap wannabe yes men managers and their mediocre coaching staff take us further and further down the rabbit hole.

Vincent, this is half hearted and not a welcome statement. What do you mean by Internal discussions or earliest opportunity, or 'over the coming weeks. Just HOW are you going to do this? You've not said anywhere that you are going to change, because if youre going to change the fortunes of this great club, that you are ruining at pace, then YOU have to change or you have to GO!

Look at Carlisles message from their board. Its sincere and it is heartfelt. Genuine upset.

Unless there is a new person with football knowledge making the plan then it’s all a load of codswallop .Just appoint an experienced manager to advise you or a DOF with a younger manager/coach first to tell you what is needed to get out of lg1 .

First step should be bringing in a Sporting Director/DoF.

That's what's desperately needed. The managerial and coaching appointments stem from there.

But it makes far too much sense for them to do it.

We literally have NO footballing people in the club and wonder why we are failing?
