I've seen a few say if we do this or if we do that then we'll stay up.
Give it up.
We're not going to win the last two - we're unlikely to win one.
Survival hopes ended today.
People need to get real and realise we'll be in League One next season.
I'll be there, will you?

I’m not in denial. I’ll be there unless City stay up

Sadly, too many times this season we look like we are playing a training game.
Before today, and we've had so many must-win games where we don't, while rivals force a result.
WBA have sacked Mowbray tonight and Norwich are on the beach. We could win the last two, but even that is not likely to be enough for a Great Escape. Tan sowed the seeds over the last few seasons with bad decisions, and on the pitch we've just not been good enough.

Why in denial? You may have thrown in the towel with others but doesn't mean others have accepted city won't win another game why should they football is played on grass not computer screen......... no good saying I was wrong if we do win is there?
At least I know who I won't be in trenches with when going gets tuff.... hopefully rambo and players don't have same attitude otherwise we are fcked.

Today's performance I thought was no better than the other few weeks. We still lacked intensity move the ball too slow. Too many backwards passes. Weak and inaccurate crosses. And why the f**k are we taking salech off when he's our main striker

The players have had this attitude all season, that’s why we’re getting relegated.

We are down simple, had to win today especially with the other results .

So had same attitude today under rambo? Thought it was polar opposite ...yes same failings in front goal but same attitude no way.... i guess no team as won a game if played badly in previous games?

Cardiff only side in bottom five not to win.
3 points from safety (and poor goal difference) with 2 games to play.
Big, big trouble.

Big trouble Annis but what's new? Been this way for all season doesn't mean its the end teams above have still got to win games to stay up.. but should never have left it his late to replace riza tan is an idiot of massive prepositions upwards and onwards next season wherever we are.

Slightly better but the same result. Had a Riza team drawn 1-1 with a poor Oxford team they’d have been booed off.
You can’t polish a turd and this year we’re getting flushed

Fair enough leave you to be a defeatist .. I'll stick to being an optimist! And if you're wondering why optimist it's because a team as turned a 7 goal difference around on last day of season and city gave up playoffs with rediculas results last 6 games of a season... just two examples why

I wasn't going to renew as I thought Riza was here even if relegated. The moment he was sacked I decided I will be renewing, my 3 daughters also want to renew.

WBA are there for the taking. Look at their results as of late, there’s a reason Mowbray has been sacked.
That being said, we aren’t a team that will take advantage of their lack of form. We aren’t a team which resurrects others.
We’ve had 44 games to accrue enough points to stay in the division - we haven’t done it. Don’t see us starting now.

Maybe the 5 days of training can change some players attitude and stiffen up way we play Got to be better than 1 day? Not fire wba get new manager bounce either Norwich indifferent it is such shame like you say had enough chances why would it change now? Simply because football is a funny old game!

I thought when we played Luton away the writing was on the wall for us
Tans inability to bring in the right manager and the right blend of players.
Riza was thrown in at the deep end with a lead weight had no real support from anyone .
Then tan goes and gives it to Ramsey 3 games to go .
It's only because Ramsey loves this club he has taken it on.
It's suicide really no time to implement anything with 3 games to go it's an impossible task .
We only got beat by a world ie today rotten luck he hits that and 1 in 20 go in he scored 3 all season I think .
Are fate was sealed earlier in the season and previous seasons
Big mistakes by Tan and the board it's there fault no and a gutless bunch of players they been garbage .
The worry is teams like brum came back up can we do that under this correct board ?
My answer is No they will sink us even further .
We need a full change on and off the field

As soon as I saw O’Dowda in defence yet again, I knew it would be a long afternoon and more of the same.
Can’t understand what Bagan has done to not get picked.
Chambers plays like we’re 3 up with no passion or intensity. His first thought is always backwards or sideways ala Bulutball.
Less said the better about Robertson’s dead balls. His free kicks were even worse!
I just hope out of all this we do clear a few out and play some of our U21’s like Lawlor.
Was sheer madness giving O’Dowda, Robinson and Alnwick new contracts.

Allan you are an optimist, I applaud that but ther people's views are tinged with realism you cant call people defeatist if they have different opinions to you, we are all different and I would call them realists. But one thing that unites is we are all extremely angry to be in this position.

No defeatist is correct word as if you give up before you know result thats being defeatist ( man u fans were defeatist thousands left before end last week before knew result) but they won....... realism is we have a chance or are you saying we don't have a chance ....anyway what matters is we are not relegated and may not be Saturday .

O'Dowda - completely disagree, he had a good match. What game were you watching?
Robertson - again, what game were you watching? He played well and his set piece / corner delivery was largely very good.
As for new contracts handed out to O'Dowda, CR47 and Alnwick, name 3 City players who deserve it more.

We ain’t down yet…football can be a strange game …remember Carlisle’s great escape in the last minute of the final game .
What’s done is done …..just praying for 2 wins !

The fairy tale scenario of Ramsey saving his boyhood team ended yesterday. Even if we were to win both games (we wont) all the teams at the bottom are in form and will not drop the required points. Personally, I hope we lose on Saturday and then it's done. I don't want to suffer some final sick twist of this season seeing us beating WBA and Norwich but then going down on goal difference. We've suffered enough haven't we?!!
Tue Apr 22, 2025 8:48 pm
Until it's mathematically impossible then we should carry on trying. Yes it's a long shot, but if we're going down then let's go down trying to get to 49 points. If that's not enough then at least we've played with a bit of pride.

What a sad and depressing post. It's a good job most Cardiff fans aren't like you otherwise the CCS would have an even worse atmosphere.
Until it's mathematically impossible I will keep the faith.
And yes I will be there next season.

It’s more realistic and pragmatic than depressing. Taking the rest of the season into account, the results at home, and the fact we are 23rd in the league I think relegation is a pretty nailed on outcome.

We were down when a fraudster got control of the team with no managerial experience except taking Leyton Orient to the non league.there were so many times he should of been sacked but for some reason the board thought it was a good idea to act with only 3 games to go. Only positive with that is Riza is gone I was dreading him leading us in League one.
Tue Apr 22, 2025 9:19 pm
Until it’s mathematically impossible I’ll believe we can stay up.
If I had a million pound to bet and split it between us staying up and going down, I’d only put £1 on staying up.
The game on Friday sealed it for me, but it’s still possible that we stay up. Derby don’t look like being caught in fairness they are rampant at the moment

Sorry Allan I get your point , but being realistic all teams around us won on Monday, I can still see them picking up points always plan for the worst but hope for the best then anything is a bonus. We will again have to agree to disagree
