Callum Robinson stormed out of the dressing room after game.
Didn't speak to Riza, ignored practically everyone and just left.
Sat Apr 12, 2025 8:20 pm
I expect he waived his arms around though!

Apparently they told him hes playing again in the next game.

I wonder if he managed to open the door himself or did he expect someone else to do his work for him?

It’s true Ned, Robinson also had tears in eyes and one player believes that Riza is bit by bit upsetting every player

If Salech and Robinson are to play together, Robinson needs to play off Salech. He cant play at the top of the midfield and its a waste of what he has to offer, Robinson needs to be running on to balls
Sat Apr 12, 2025 8:30 pm
Maybe someone asked him to chase back and work for the team.??
Sat Apr 12, 2025 8:30 pm
If you look after Robinson and give him the respect he deserves you will get a good Striker out of him.
How can good player can player for Riza?
Look what Riza has done to a good player like Salech sent him backwards
Sat Apr 12, 2025 8:34 pm
Bit harsh on Robinson, without his goals we’d be long gone.
Riza has ruined the team.
His tactics and team selection has ruined every player.
Sat Apr 12, 2025 8:36 pm
Nothing to do with the post but where has the thread saying riza has been sacked gone is it not true

Agree, played in a position thats not for him. If he's on its either wing or up front

Sorry just seen it's still here

I've taken it down as a sticky, still on the forum though. Would have expected a statement by now if it was true.
But as has been said by others, this about Robinson is 100% true.
The players don't want Riza either.

Spot on Robinson has done very well and is actually hurting

Robinson is very good at making space for himself and links well when the ball is played into his feet. His touch and 1 touch lay offs allow us to play forward but when we are slow at the back with the ball the spaces close up and he becomes ineffective

People knock robbo but I think he genuinely cares about doing well. He’s being played out of position by a man who has no idea how to make any of them play well in any position

He really does

I’m no Riza fan but Once again yet more unproven rumours. Unless you were actually there to witness this how could anyone know that this actually happened??
Wild rumours and shit stirring is not helpful to the the team or supporters

For me , Robinson is not as lazy as some people make out
Petulant at times sure, but FFS, Cardiff has long been the place, strikers come to die
Clueless tactics are to blame here and for me, a player storming out with tears in their eyes at least shows they give a shit
Laughed at the above comment of him being told he is playing next time though

Not the type that I want at this club. Stroppy modern day footballer who cares more about the perception than actually putting a shift in.
Giving him a new contract was a f**k up.
Get him and all the other muppets who have turned us in to an embarassing/soft touch out of our club!

Robbo deserves our respect, I dread to think where we’d be without his goals. Scores goals in a shit team

Just because he doesn’t run around like a headless chicken, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t put a shift in.
12 goals in this relegation team is a miracle! Only four players have scored more goals than him in the league.

Todays stats
Zero goals
Zero assists
1 shot. Off target
Lost all 4 ground duels
Attempted 1 long ball; failed
Attempted 2 crosses; failed
Dispossed 3 times
Offside once
19 touches
5.7/10.
No wonder he's stropping. Must someone else's fault because he's got 12 goals im the bank.

He’s being played out of position and under Rizza who has zero game plan.

What do you think is his optimal position?

Before salech it was up top, with someone who can put balls through to him.
Now it’s Salech up top with Robbo playing off him. He is no good when he has to drop deep, Riza needs to play to our players strengths.

but for 2 seasons i have read non stop he is not a lone striker, he needs to play off a target man, but it's clear to me he has lost whatever quickness he had. So it's a lone striker, which he says he is not.
WBA let him go cheap because he had peaked and they knew it.
Undoubtedly like every talented player over the last three seasons, we have made him look worse than he is, but he cuts a frustrated, whinging figure as he can't adapt his game to the realities of father time.

A lot of comments on here about Robinson attitude but if you look at his reaction when we score be it him or someone else his passion is second to none and I beleive he actually cares about the club and the fans

Easy to forget he stayed on the pitch for over 15 minutes, after tearing a hamstring, for us as we had used all substitutes. Could have ruined his career. I think that shows his commitment.
Top goal scorer this season, that shows ability.
He is always pressing and closing down stopping play from building up.
I’d like to see stats showing how active or lazy he is.
He’s certainly not workshy.

Several times yesterday he was feeing the fans up to get fans roaring us on, I don't think he would be doing that if he didn't give a shit, and has been already stated his passion when we score is more than any other player on the pitch.
