I dont really think it would bother us it would be nice to have another welsh club in the league and an extra derby match if we played them in the cup

Would like them back in the football league. I think they got potental to be a league 1 side, they are bigger than a lot of lower league teams

It would be great like it is having the Jacks challenging us. Like it or not we need the likes of Newport and the Jacks to keep us on our toes.

Bad news that the tw@ts who came down to NP for the FAW Cup will have something to be happy about.

Turning it on its head. It would be bad news for them if we got to (and stayed) in the Prem. There is already a significant number of City fans in Newport and the kids would flock to us in numbers if we were playing the top sides week in week out. Many of us know from experience that lower division football carrys very little interest to most kids.

Good news. We could then loan some of our youngsters to a League 2 club just down the road.

The only club that should be concerned is Liverpool and their fan base.

From about 1958/59 to when we went up under Ashurst
and County missed out I watched both clubs.

Good news for Newport and good news for football in Wales. I used to go and watch County when City were away as a teenager (Relish, Tynan, Oakes, Kendall, the Scouse legend John something whose name escapes me John Lewis before he came to us....and more)

I'd be chuffed if they made it and I'd probably go watch the odd game again. Wouldn't really interfere with Cardiff City and there was never the rivalry between the two as there is with the Jacks....
