Yes or no???
At this time for me it's a NO
Sun Jan 22, 2023 10:31 am
No
I feel that the teams below will eventually gain momentum while our club will just sit still drawing and losing games.
Huddersfield got 2 games in hand over us and the other 2 will get better. Unless Tan Choo and Delmin goes our club will continue to fall. Personally our club need to go through the worst before things start to look better. League 1 mid table is our worst, then hopefully Tan realises its not worth it and leaves.
It's Simple League 1 and tan choo and dalmin leave. Then a better owner will replace them with new board and then our club can then move forwards.

Yes along as we get a couple of players in like last season
Sun Jan 22, 2023 1:44 pm
I answered not sure.
If we get a manager (experienced and not another hand me down) and use this transfer window then yes.
If nothing happens then we go down.
Sun Jan 22, 2023 1:45 pm
If things don’t change then no, I think we will if we get a decent manager and a couple of players.

With you, Wez...

No. We deserve relegation
Sun Jan 22, 2023 2:02 pm
The next week or so is key. No chance with current manager and squad. But with a couple of additions and a new man at the helm, we will be OK.
Sun Jan 22, 2023 2:10 pm
Feel sorry for Whitehead but I think we will go down if nothing changes. If Whitehead stays and we bring in a striker - we might stay up.
Just hoping we get an experienced manager in time so he can bring make a few signings. A striker and LB would make a massive difference to this team!

Desreve...?
Who? The owner, the club, the (mainly) decent supporters

...?
What a pathetic anti-club (not owner) comment to make!

As it stands and with no change, yes. Millwall and other teams have been nothing special but you don't need to be to beat us by a single goal
If we get effective additional players like we did in Jan last year we will stay up, even without a new manager. If we just get a new experienced manager with no new players, I still think this change will also keep us up. And if we get both, we will definitely stay up and perhaps finish a little higher than we thought.
VT now has to deliver the latter very quickly as you can see that the players confidence is now shot and we are in a relegation tail spin.

I was honest and replied Yes
Of course I hope im wrong and will continue to attend the games and back my club
It is looking extremely grim though
Sun Jan 22, 2023 2:21 pm
I'll reserve judgment until we get a new manager and see if we sign any players in the window.
The signs aren't great at the moment, though.
Sun Jan 22, 2023 2:22 pm
The days leading up to the close of the window will
Determine if we stay up or not.

I think we all know there is only one voter that counts and that's Vinny.
Back to back wins (remember them, but we do play an exciting brand

) and we are mid table.
Short term we need two 9's, Etete is not ready to lead the line. I'd sell Colwell, someone will take a punt on him, he has something, I just doubt we are the club to bring it out of him. It's clear to me now that he and Robinson are fighting for the same jersey and one is at his peak and what we need now.
We could do with a more direct speedster winger. Philogene tosses around too much for me, Oh for a NML to scare teams.
We all know we need a manager who will tear up our current new qualified coaching manual and get the ball forward quicker. We have a solid central midfield, and could do with a dead ball specialist but they are as rare as rocking horse shit
No one is too good or big to go down, Vinny can save HIS arse if he wants but that means hiring a proper manager and long-term restructuring the club and board.
Sun Jan 22, 2023 2:57 pm
If we don't get a striker who can put the ball in the net then we will 100% go down
Sun Jan 22, 2023 2:59 pm
I'm not sure, huge 7 days or so ahead for the club. A stable manager and a Drameh & Hugill type loan swoop and we'll be fine.
The bottom 4 in the championship tend to be poor or in severe trouble; as it stands today, we are poor enough to go down.

Based on not being good enough to play in the championship

Wouldn't want to be in the trenches with some of you on this board ,you would give up halfway through the battle . Same happened last season.
Sun Jan 22, 2023 3:24 pm
I put No BUT the positive is we are not getting battered by teams losing by big margins etc which suggests we are not far away just lacking firepower and could do with a manager with tactical experience of this situation we are in.
Sun Jan 22, 2023 4:48 pm
Its a no for me I always look for passion and a squad who are together and bookings , sadly we ain't got it , you can judge folk like Flint, Pack, Madine, and other unliked players who.had passion, effort that's what you need know ..
Sun Jan 22, 2023 5:17 pm
100% yes. We are not going down.
Some on here are quite simply just defeatists and negative.

First time for me to say we will go down probably….can’t see us getting the quality striker we need …particularly as the clock is running on the window abd we don’t yet have a manager in place …DW isn’t going to keep us up.
I soooo want to be wrong as I thought we would be comfortable in mid table by now with the squad ….the sacking of Morison could prove to be a massive mistake!

We have a NML of sorts in O’Dowda. We need to release him from FB and let him loose on teams.
I think you’re right on needing a couple of No9’s and your comments for selling Colwell. He’s certainly got something, is silky on the ball, especially for a big unit. But it isn’t happening for him here under 3 or 4 managers now.
I think we can stay up. 1 goal margins in most losses. But when you look back to how we played against Norwich and the odd spectacular half games, shows this squad has it in them. Personally I think they need a huge confidence boost to get back to getting something out of the games as we looked very nervous yesterday.
Biggest failing is lack of movement, we started pass and move start of the season, but gone back to pass and stand too often.
Fingers crossed we’ll stay up.

Plenty of points to play for, 13 points of a play off spot

That's the attitude
We will be ok.

We are like statues at times. Watching yesterday with my brother and a friend we could not believe how little movement there was when we had throw ins, everyone just standing still, what the hell do they do in training, surely they practice all types of situations in a game whether it be a throw in,corner or free kick. Could not believe what I was watching.
