MY VIEW: CARDIFF'S GAME TODAY WAS MASSIVE & ONCE AGAIN HUDSON & CARDIFF LET THEIR FANS DOWN BIG TIME & WERE BOOED OFF THE PITCH

CARDIFF CITY ARE IN TROUBLE & IN A RELEGATION DOG FIGHT.

THIS MATCH REALLY SHOWED HOW POOR BOTH SIDES ARE & DESERVE TO BE NEAR THE BOTTOM OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP, AS MANAGERS SAY, LEAGUE TABLES DONT LIE.

Wigan could of scored 3 or 4 goals in the 2nd half.

Please dont say bad luck Cardiff, no such thing you make your own luck.

Cardiff are the lowest they have been for over 15 years in the league

Before today Cardiff had only managed 2 wins from 15 games.

Wigan bottom of the Championship and had only won once in their last 14 league games AND had 4 x 4-1 hammerings: and Cardiff had not won a game since the end of October last year.

FIRST-HALF: Another frustrating first-half by City, plenty of attacking, Davies looked sharp, but not the end product. City deserved to be leading, but same old story. But over all a poor match

SECOND-HALF: 55th min: Hull miss open goal, City made 4 substitutions, including
Callum Robinson on for Ojo, as the Bluebirds tried to step up the pace. Alsop made a couple of very good saves later on where Wigan should of scored,
There was yet Another big let-off for City! Fletcher's shot is saved by Allsop! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

81st min: Against the run of play, GOAL! Cardiff City 1-0 Wigan Athletic (O'Dowda 82)
Goal! :bluebird: :bluebird:

CARDIFF CITY 1 WIGAN 1
H-T 0-0

Away Support

Cardiff City: Allsop; Ng, Nelson, Simpson, O’Dowda; Wintle, Ralls; Harris, Ojo, Philogene; Davies.

Subs: Alnwick, Sang, Kipre, Sawyers, Rinomhota, Robinson, Etete.

Frustrating first-half by City,

H-T 0-0

Kipre, Etete and Rinomhota all on.

Simpson, Ralls and Harris off.

61st min: Callum Robinson on for Ojo, as the Bluebirds step up the pace

Yet Another big let-off for City! Fletcher's shot is saved by Allsop!

81st min:GOAL! Cardiff City 1-0 Wigan Athletic (O'Dowda 82)
Goal!

GOAL! Cardiff City 1-1 Wigan Athletic (Keane 90)
Goal. Keane scores.

The ball is put towards the back post and Keane hammers home. :o :o

It’s hard to see how we don’t get relegated.

Things are beyond awful.

Change is needed.

Cant keep blaming referees or bad luck. Hudson has to go. Truly pathetic record. We have a window open, lets not waste it with him

Have to agree.
Yes we were seconds away from 3 points but imho a draw was a fair result and that’s not good enough.

Terrible performance yet again. Sacking Steve Morison has proven to be a dreadful decision. We had a clear identity under Morison and now all over the place.

Hudson has to go,he clearly can't get a tune out of these players.
Tan must sell now too.

We were shit under Morison and all

One of the things we did well against Leeds was to get forward in quick transitions.

Today it could have been a break away 4 on 1 and by the time we get to the goal they had time to get everyone behind the ball.

Davies pace and we constantly passed back or sideways. A very drab game again, two poor sides and a draw was a fair result, shame the 4 minutes added was actually 6 for us to steal a win though.

Positives to take, we are this bad and not in the bottom 3, so there must be worse teams somehow

No way did 18000 show up today….def heading for league 1. let’s hope it finally gets rid of Tan who by sacking the bloke he let sign loads of players and change our style has really sent us spiralling down. Absolutely clueless, billionaire my arse. :bluescarf:

I’ll be absolutely amazed if we don’t go down, that game was abysmal, and to be honest Cardiff didn’t deserve to win, and if we had won it would just paper over the gaping holes, Hudson has to go & the club need a huge change, quickly.

I don’t know which players were suffering from the bug,but carrying on from the Leeds game Sawyers and Rhino should have started with Ralls on the bench.

I'm not one to slate one of our own and I do like Hudson, But believe an experienced manager could get a tune out of these players
He has no real game plan that I can see, his record is dreadful and I can't see how it's going to improve.
On the positive a new manager bounce and we be up there the league is so tight.

Re: MY VIEW: CARDIFF'S GAME TODAY WAS MASSIVE & ONCE AGAIN H

Sat Jan 14, 2023 6:16 pm

He has to go, what was our game plan today?

We had small pacy front line, yet all they did was stand on the defenders, we should of had them much deeper to be able to run on to balls and whip some crosses in.

We play the ball around the back and half the team is 70 yard up the pitch, theres no balance. Then we boot it up and hope Ojo/Philo/Davies win the header against people twice there size...

What pissed me of is not taking what we did from the Leeds game, went back to Ralls and Wintle. Nothing happens with that setup, its safe yeah but we are the HOME f*cking TEAM

How many f*cking times have i got to watch a long ball to the back post where they put a big guy on NG who wins the header and they score?

Wigan were the worst team i ever seen, they did nothing, offered nothing, didnt chase or anything. All there attacks came from us turning the ball over.

Last few home games i thought we had 10 men, theres something wrong. All these teams like Wigan and Blackpool come to us and dont offer much yet get points. That shows something is wrong.

Under Morrison i could see our plan, under Hudon i dont know.

Wigan scored a Warnock type hoof ball goal.
We lack a big centre half the to deal with crosses..
Hopefully McGinnuess will solve this problem..
Our keeper seems rooted to the goal line.
Hudson has to go.
No organisation or team spirit
