100% agree. Tbf Starmer isn’t going so as head of the party he should order all other members not to go. Drakeford loves making wales look different but this is scandalous.

I don't think he should go but no one should go if we are to make a stance. No team, no fans, no politicians.
Feels more like a stick to beat him with when we are still eager to watch Wales in a World Cup.
There's lots of virtue signalling amongst the nations like Denmark and their faded out shirt but it all falls short of what should actually be happening if Qatar has anything to be accountable for.

The only people who thinks it's a good idea are his cronies who need the job as an A.M. and do/say anything to keep drakedord on their side.... Hes going to tell the Qatary leaders he doesn't like the way they treat lbqt+ people? I can see him now over lunch of sheeps eyes (welsh ones)
I'm here to look good so please renounce your religious beliefs just for world cup so I can win election at home.

Many politicians have gladly accepted gifts from the Qatari government recently. Not really sure why I'm posting this mind as Drakeford could find a cure for cancer and this board would be slagging him off (and managing to shoehorn a reference to Corbyn in there for good measure)

What's politicians accepting gifts got to do with drakeford ignoring his leader his fellow A.Ms and going to Qatar? Undoubtedly he will get a gift as well for promoting Qatar during his visit.

Its far deeper than accepting gifts, article talks about how Westminster politicians accepted gifts and then went on to voice pro-Qatari opinions in Westminster.
Just pointing out that this is happening across the board in the UK. labour and Tories.
As always though this board will happily ignore all the wrongs in government unless it concerns the senedd and Drakeford.

Yep I mentioned Corbyn along side drakeford to keep in even so after he has sorted cancer out which will be handy for me at moment will he follow Corbyns lead in boycotting Qatar due to human rights? NO.
Will he follow his executive? NO.
Which shows he is an out of date 2nd rate excuse of a political non entity like Kinnock was back in the day.
