How close is Tan to finally leaving?

Tue Oct 11, 2022 11:13 am

All I can say is, Tan desperately now wants out, more than ever is now listening more than ever to the offers.

And yes their are now three different groups all involved now trying to buy Tan out and Dalman is in talks with all
of them.

Plus Dalman himself is trying to put a consortium together.

City owe Dalman £28mill and interest rates are getting higher.

Jim, it’s a big NO from me if Dalman becomes the new owner.

Thanks

The ones from 18months both come back with higher offers, plus Dalman

One is London based.

Glad Tan is going, but not Dalman. remember when Tan bribed Cardiff fans with scarfs and loads held them up like brainwashed lemmings? Anyone here hold up his scarf?

One of my customers in Cardiff was saying a fair while back he and his partners were trying to put something together and had spoken to tan. Thought he was chatting shit though.
If they are one of them I can see why tan would be reluctant.
Still owe me money

That’s absurd. If Tan keeps on bailing us out financially, how the hell can we owe our OWN Chairman £28 million? His job is to get us debt free not added to it.

The stadium toilets were stuffed full of the red dragon shite scarfs

He lent us funds at a horrific rate I believe. wish the bloody Charlton thing had come off and took Choo with him then Mr Tan could have got some football people in.

You prefer a guy who as loaned club money at far above commercial rates? We owe him reported £28m Dalman is a very bad chairman and worse accountant .... can say what the hell you like about tan but taking money out of club at extortionate rates is not one of his faults in fact he's probably not taken any money out club.....yes tan needs to go but getting Dalman in his place is far worse.

Oh God please no Dalman!

Frightening times, it's a toss of a coin now, someone who understands football and can spot a sleeping giant, or one of the loons with no money trying to borrow to make a quick $ :?

Does anyone have any idea how much would be needed to buy the club now?

Say what you like about the red scarves but at the end of the day they are now part of our history along with the disgusting white strip we once had.
MD will not buy our club as long as he can make money from us and he will make sure others potential buyers are put off.

Yeah part of our history as they laid there in the urinals. That's how we will all remember them.

Let's hope whoever it is has real money to take us forward. Tans been a great owner and sometimes it's better the devil you know but I feel things have gone a bit stale recently but the rest of football clubs are in the same boat .

London based - Mike Ashley ?

Can anyone name a consortium takeover that has worked ?

That would worry me big time.

No issues with Tan selling up but I want to be sure my club will still be here in 5 years time and not go back to the boom and bust years we had before Tan.

On the brink of buying Worcester RFC so not a mad idea geographically for him. I'd be quite happy with Ashley.
