Does anyone know if the U21 games are live streamed on YouTube or similar? I know we've done this in the past but it doesn't seem for every fixture although I maybe wrong.

5-0 Full Time that is disgraceful. And that was supposed to have been a strong team, questions need to be asked about the coaching of the youngsters before it is too late.

I belive its the home games that are all streamed on YouTube.

At least we seem ahead of the game in respects to media, if not on the pitch.

Is it any surprise?

Look at the difference between the likes of Colwill and Isaak our most rejected youngsters compared to the likes of Alex Scott, Conway and Semenyi at Bristol city.

Our youth is no where good enough

But Dalman , Glen Williams, local media and our club have been saying for the last 2 years we have brilliant players coming through, they said that for the last 2 years, the team that came through last season and this one??

A lot of our that’s came through as well are now 20,21,22 etc years old and virtually NO one starts in our first team.

Many of these today are 18,19,20 yrs old.

It can't help that I've noticed it's never a settled side lots of different line ups each match .

Wez,

We do the same with the first team.

Wez, this humiliating against one of our rivals once again.

There is a lot of known names in our team, 5nil is shocking

Re: Humiliated: ‘ Cardiff City this afternoon ‘

Tue Sep 13, 2022 2:44 pm

The fact is our most celebrated youngsters colwill and I.Davies are not a patch on the youngsters of our rivals. I would bet there are youngsters at Bristol city better than both who have yet to play first team. Unfortunately we have nothing coming through good enough it’s a sad fact but true

Mate, we are still years behind, you can see that by how bad they are and not championship standard

To be fair though - Joel Bagan, Rubin Colwill, Oli Denham, Isaak Davies & Eli King have all been taken out of the U23/21's team since 2 years ago when they said we have a talented crop coming through. When you take those 5 out, maybe they're important players who are difficult to replace, it doesn't mean EVERY one who remains left isn't talented either. Just because we lost 5-0, doesn't mean every single player is a write off. Take Crole for example, he's obviously a talented striker with potential, but he didn't start today to make room for Tanner to get some minutes. Leahy has looked decent, as has Semenyo and Joel Colwill. Let's say the best happens and those 4 make it to the first team, in the not too distant future we may have 9 FIRST TEAM players who came from our academy.

All of our rivals produce championship ready youngsters from time to time, I’m afraid we seen a long way off and I don’t know where the problem lies wether it is the standard of coaching from the bottom up or a lack of talent to work with. All I know is Bristol city have probably 40-50m worth of talent in their first team that they have nurtured and we have about 3mill

Nice idea but won’t happen I’d be happy for 3 or 4 QUALITY youngsters supplementing the team. Can’t just Chuck in youngsters in the hope one comes off

Joel Bagan, Rubin Colwill, Oli Denham, Isaak Davies & Eli King have not yet properly made it, for me yes Rubin is quality but Morison is yet to make him a regular starter.
They’ve not made our first team any stronger.
It’s happened to the Worzels and all clubs they move theirs out, the next crop are not all kids they are virtually all well known names.

As to 9 first team players coming through that was tried last season and it nearly got us relegated.
Even Morison was not impressed with them.

How many start each game in our last 8 league games?

Let’s be grateful 2-3 make it , as that would be fantastic.

But this is shocking today.

As to us dropping Cole for Tanner, Tanner is suppose to be class??? He’s 20’years old and apparently class??

That’s beyond a dream or a fantasy to think 9 will make it.

Why is someone like Colwill so unfit for a youngster as well?! should be able to run and run but looks puffed out. Without that stamina and fitness just can’t see him making it

Because it’s not true he is fit.

Just Morison not his biggest fan, will end up being forced to play him more if results don’t get better.

I don’t mean fit as in able to play Annis… I mean why does he seem so out of breath throughout the time he plays which obviously isn’t much

I agree on Crole wez he should be at least on the bench more than our other strikers. and if they don't perform tonight then he should be in the team on Saturday

Pre season he was great in the 1st team and hes been scoring at every level he plays at in the oast ,sometimes these boys need to be chucked in the deep end.
