Annis

I can`t remember who it was who wrote it for him now (do you know?) , but the book of Cass` life story was well written and an excellent read.

But I can`t agree with you about the film. I thought it was badly edited and directed , and had some really crap acting in it.Perhaps the only decent bit in it was the cameo role that Cass himself had.

But then life is all about opinions and lots of people seemed to have enjoyed the film - they really should make the effort to read the book though.

Keith, I admit it was cheaply made, due to it being low British Budget Film, But Because it was more about his life and True maybe thats why I really enjoyed it so much, Yes I agree the Book was Excellent. Trying to look at back off DVD now to see who wrote it, cant find anything saying who.

For the older fans there was the The Arsenal Stadium Mystery set in the 1930's.

Then there was Escape to Victory with a host of ex pros inc ex City manager Russell Osman

There is one with Sean Bean set around Sheffield United "When Saturday Comes."

Another recently about Gillingham fans in the FA Cup with Johnny Owen "The Shouting Men."
