So thdre we have it. Black and white, straight from the horses mouth.

The Transfer Committee bought players and imposed them on the manager. And I am quite sure it was more than the 'odd occasion'

Anyway, hopefully thats now a thing of the past, never to happen again.

To think of the absolute grief I took for that over the years, and Borley has now come out and admitted it.

Jonny this was one of the biggest things I got slated on by once again the usual suspects that have crawled away and we won’t see them for a while .
I told them time and time again this was happening and we can’t blame the managers all the time.

Funny thing is the usual two main suspects on Twitter also left the main line out.

How are the court cases Cardiff are involved with progressing?

All I can say is that they’ve concluded and we’re waiting for decisions. One we would have expected a decision by now, the other one could be months or years.

People that think that this never happened are extremely naive.

It’s happened at many clubs over the years and our club has been no different.

Also stories of owners/chairmen going into the dressing rooms before games. I believe these things never or rarely occur these days

Your missing the point.

Of course, But when I and others like Carl Curtis said it was happening at Cardiff City, we were slammed , ridiculed and made our liars.

Im not sure interference in team tactics, team affairs, player signings by a board isn't common, and is looked on as unusual.

I am of the opinion it is only the odd few, and perhaps only at CCFC. How, under these circumstances we hung on to managers for more than a few weeks/months is beyond me.

I don’t know about that so can’t comment, but like you say I’m sure Tan interfered on occasions!
Same at many clubs with weak managers.

Steve Borley:

“ You can’t impose a player on a manager.”

So the manager picks the players and goes to the board with his case to action these signings, no different to any club in the land ffs .

Hahaha! Bit of a silly reply, still trying to blindly back the regime despite 100% evidence of appalling interference.

Deliberately missing the point

What? Your reply makes no sense. You and your board backers are now panicking.

No, Im sure Borley is telling the truth about the Regime signing players for the manager.

Im loving this at the moment.

Borleys message is clear as day.

I cant entertain anyone backing or defending his statement of interference, so i'll just let you all post on this one.

You cant argue with fact.

Exactly so the board doesn't as confirmed by borley in this statement, hes told eveyone the procedure of recruitment saying that they dont impose a player on a manger ,just the normal suspects are trying to twist it to another meaning .the facts are there ,manger comes to the board with a player either the board agree or don't, its in his statement.

Mate , I have seen some clowns in my time , can you not read? , Borley openly admits it was happening and now it’s stopped and he admits the final decisions are the boards and rightly so on the last part.

Honestly, how can you not take that quote by Steve, as the club making a decision on the transfers without the managers say?

Name a club that hasnt signed a player without managers knowledge? Man c Chelsea to name two high profile clubs done it... anyone who thinks it only happened at ccfc are totally living in cloud cookoo land.... yes it happened but hundreds of times elsewhere as well ..... so to rejoice at knowing ccfc did it is a bit

Steve's been at the club 25 years hes saying what's happen in the past that didnt work, that could of been under any previous owners in his time here ,the club and this committee that he's part of doesn't, he's told everyone the process and the transfer committee doesn't impose any player on the manger its in black and white i cant understand how anyone can twist this into an anti club thread .

Clearly he’s talking about this regime. Ben Turner even came out and said the regime made sure certain players played whether the manager liked it or not. So to think they Havnt made signings behind the mangers back is unbelievable. There’s a reason why we paid Ole to keep quiet on the ongoings at our club. Hopefully it stays in the past now.

Don’t care how many clubs it’s happened at. It’s still not ok. Clearly they’ve learnt from it and it won’t be happening again.

Correct and hopefully they have totally changed.

Correct Ole had called a press conference to spill it all, many reporters were on their way , then suddenly Ole had signed papers, £3,5mill pay off and mouth was silent.

Ben Turner certainly did speak out, met him many times an honest bloke.

Pretty sure that's correct, either way... Ole got the players he wanted.. Or is it just a coincidence that Ole is appointed and Tan decides to sign a load of Scandinavian players.
