Ng sends the ball down the chennel for Davies to chase. He tries a speculative effort from a tight angle but Nicholls gathers comfortably.

A ball is lofted over the top towards Danny Ward, but it's out of his reach and Smithies gathers.

Vaulks displays neat feet to earn Cardiff a free-kick on halfway.

McGuinness cuts out a dangerous pass at full stretch. Huddersfield would have been in behind there if not.
