TalkSPORT

Bournemouth are set to complete deals for Norwich midfielder Todd Cantwell and Cardiff striker Kieffer Moore as part of a quadruple deadline day swoop, talkSPORT understands.

The Cherries have agreed a £3.5m fee with Cardiff for Wales International Moore.

Bournemouth are also expected to complete the signings of Newcastle goalkeeper Freddie Woodman on loan and Peterborough striker Siriki Dembele for £1m.

It's what all footballers do when they can make a buck and move to a better club higher in the league who can blame him :bluescarf:

I can’t blame him for wanting to play higher up the ladder and improve his salary but that fact that he virtually downed tools for us is really annoying.
Can’t blame Morison for leaving him out of the squad yesterday either.

Dembele for 1m is a bargain too, wouldn't of mind him signing here.

That’s not very nice fella. I wish him all the best if he goes, the only thing I’m pissed off about is the fee, £3.5m ffs

Really ????

So.if I offere you a huge promotion, chance to better yourself and quadruple your wages you'd stay at your current job

To wish a Cardiff player a leg break is absolutely disgusting

May be just me but I think he has acted like a prick since last summer. I understand wanting to move on if he is offered higher wages and a chance in the PL but he has forced the move by acting like a petulant kid. For that reason I don't wish him luck, I hope he barely gets a kick for them.

Edit - I wouldn't wish him a broken leg like the guy above mind :-D

Re: BREAKING: DEAL AGREED FOR KEIFFER MOORE

His head was turned , with the Wolves bid , and the thought of tripling his wages .
He did well last season, but nothing of note this season.
Keifer the grass is not always greener , and your dream of being a PL player won't happen not with AFCB .
Good luck , thanks for last season, at least we made a (little) profit on him !
On a side note , there are rumours that a player from AFCB is coming here as part of the deal ?

All the best Kieffer! :bluescarf:

Can't help but feel like 3.5m is a bit of a steal for Bournemouth mind.

Why don’t the City board grow a backbone and actually hold out for a fee that is more befitting the player?

3.5m is an absolute joke!

I'm with this, don't want him to break his leg, but he left on a very sour note, the way he was playing he's no loss at all this season the tool.

Re: BREAKING: DEAL AGREED FOR KEIFFER MOORE

I dont see 3.5 million as that bad. We paid only 2.5 million for him so it's a profit at least.
I think our valuation of him was way too high and maybe 6 or 7 last season would've been fair but this season his stock has dropped dramatically.
He doesn't want to be here and we are managing without him so onwards and upwards and good luck keiffer

Re: BREAKING: DEAL AGREED FOR KEIFFER MOORE

Can't begrudge him a move, especially to a team looking close to the Premier League.

As many have said above, a bit disappointed with his attitude to get the move in the first place.

We'll never know the exact reasons for him being left out of the squad but it's looking more likely due to the rumour of 'downing tools'

Thanks for your time here Kieffer.

Let's now move on

Re: BREAKING: DEAL AGREED FOR KEIFFER MOORE

Very disappointing. I wish him all the best. First 20 goal a season striker for a good while.

So Forest turn down £15M for Johnson, an international squad player with potential. We accept £3.5M for a regular full international who continually knocks them in at this level.

Good luck keiffer, 3.5m is poor but it is what it is, did we expect anything less from the board to get whatever they could when it was offered

Especially one who is so pivotal to Wales and may play a role in helping us get to our first World Cup in 60+ years.

Wonder if you’d have the balls to say that directly to his face.

Kieffer is 30, Johnson is 20 big difference.

30 years old, 1 year left on his contract. 5 championship goals this season, The max we could of hoped for was 5mil. I love Kieffer and will support him on an international day, but realistically this is the best for him and for the club. Good luck

Move forward with what we have now

Re: BREAKING: DEAL AGREED FOR KEIFFER MOORE

Hope the board have put in an £1.5m if Bournemouth get promoted. If we haven't why do we give in so meekly when we sell players?

Re: BREAKING: DEAL AGREED FOR KEIFFER MOORE

Mon Jan 31, 2022 9:14 am

Acting like a prick and downing tools talk do you really think he's done both  for all we know he's been told he's not playing he's being sold and the manager has to toe the party line with what he says as to why he's not been playing "covid" "injections" and so on to why he's not been playing is all we have had. If the board said he's being sold his hands are tied so says what he's told to say that's the bottom line. All managers do it. Although nobody really knows how he's been or what really went on unless your within the club otherwise its just guess work :bluescarf:

Good luck to him it's just a job after all to players who will go wherever the money is although it does show how desperate we are for cash at that fee in truth

Interesting noone from the premier league has come it at that price but can't see Bournemouth surviving even if they do go up unless they invest significantly and cant see them doing that either

And what wait for £10 mill+ like a few on here think he’s worth?
Or wait forever for a bid of £5 mill?
Or wait until his contract is out and let him go for free meanwhile he sulks about the club putting in little to no effort?

A players value is only what another club will bid.

Just watched Jordan Hugill interview on CCFC app.Genuine ,likeable guy with no “attitude “who knows his limitations and aspirations.Really wants to be here and is grateful for the opportunity. He has so much respect for SM and says he has given him back all his lost confidence.Reckon he’ll become a fan’s favourite.

A player is only worth what someone will pay for him. If there aren’t clubs queuing up for him, then the club can’t push his value up. If the player wants to go then that will also push his value down.

Personally I think a reasonable value expectation is c£5m and hope that there are add ons - despite his 20 goals last season (his only good season) he is ageing, has no PL pedigree, has had fitness issues/ injury all season and appears lukewarm to being here. If we flip it and our board spent £5m+ on a striker with that profile would we be happy?

BTW, the ‘board without a backbone’ got him got £2m last season…

Lanky piece of piss. Underwhelmed when we signed him. Good riddance.

You seem incredibly triggered by someone who you were underwhelmed with when we signed him - imagine if you really liked him!! ;)
