Aden Flint is able to play as red card overturned.

Kieffer Moore ankle injury still out.
Thu Jan 06, 2022 2:56 pm
The likes of Dillon Phillips might get a shot in goal, while Joel Bagan will likely come into the side at left wing-back, given Ryan Giles has been called back by his parent club Wolves.
Ryan Wintle will be an intriguing addition in the middle of the park, one would think. He comes with an excellent first half of the season under his belt and has really impressed the Bluebirds management, who have watched him closely during his time with the Seasiders.
It is up front, though, where Cardiff have mass absences.
Kieffer Moore is out for this weekend's clash following his ankle injury which he sustained at Bournemouth. It is unclear yet when he will return, there is an outside chance for Blackburn Rovers but it could also be towards the back end of the month.
Max Watters has been recalled from MK Dons, but he is still undergoing rehab for an injury he sustained while at the League One club. He has been ruled out this weekend.
James Collins has emerged as a doubt this weekend, too. It is thought the player could miss the game through illness. While Chanka Zimba is on his way to Northampton Town to complete a loan until the end of the season.
All things considered, then, that leaves two viable options to start the clash at Cardiff City Stadium this weekend, both of whom will be desperate to impress.
Mark Harris and Isaak Davies look the most likely duo to lead the line against the Lilywhites. Given they have both hovered near the bottom of the striker pecking order, it is an opportunity they will want to seize.
Harris has been linked with a move to German side FC St. Pauli, however, how concrete their interest is in the Wales international is sketchy at present.

Notice the odds for first scorer don’t include either Flint or McGuiness they would be my first choices.

A bit of an odd game today regardless of the lack of crowd at the CCS
I always want to win every game but this time out it has to be tempered by the position we find ourselves in on and off the field, i.e. form, injuries and league position
Not our priority this season but the team put out is one that can compete and I hope it is one that can see us into the next round
C'mon, you Bluebirds...!

Pack has cut the silly hair! Here's hoping for an improvement in his football too!
Sun Jan 09, 2022 2:12 pm
A decent start for Preston, who have had a couple of corners and half-chances
Preston have had far more of the ball but the Bluebirds, in the main, have held up well and none of the Preston chances can be labelled 'sitters'
LATEST SCORE: CARDIFF CITY 0 - 0 PRESTON NORTH END
Sun Jan 09, 2022 2:14 pm
Preston enjoying most of the early possession.
Sun Jan 09, 2022 2:17 pm
Nobody up the bloody pitch. As we win the ball it's coming straight back at us as Colwill, Davies and Collins are so isolated. Need an extra bod in the centre. Not a CDM.
3 CBs and a RB and Vaulks making a header back there!!
Sun Jan 09, 2022 2:21 pm
Colwills passing has been abysmal so far, hopefully he grows into the game

Just put a beauty through to Davies !!!
Sun Jan 09, 2022 2:27 pm
First genuine chance for the Bluebirds falls to Isaak Davies who breezed through but puts the ball wide
Encouraging for the Bluebirds, who are starting to get into the game

Should have scored.
Sun Jan 09, 2022 2:29 pm
Davies was clear through , but hit wide
Sun Jan 09, 2022 2:30 pm
Chance for a Will Vaulks long throw here.
Sun Jan 09, 2022 2:32 pm
Should have at least made the keeper work.
Sun Jan 09, 2022 2:35 pm
More possession but looking a bit toothless in attack
Sun Jan 09, 2022 2:36 pm
We’ve got to learn to give Colwill the ball early. He’s starting to turn this game on his own.
He’s always looking for the ball.
Sun Jan 09, 2022 2:38 pm
Some decent play from the Bluebirds right now and half-chancescare being created and corners won; although Preston have probably had the best chance of all
Colwill doing well so far. Keep it up, City...
