Insofar as the table goes we were better than them all. We had a head-start over all of them. But due to our management (or mis-managment) we somehow went backwards.
For me Malky would have kept us in the Premiership. In Sam and Bellars we have had two individuals who excel in Youth Development. Yet, as a club, we allow these situations to slip through our fingers.

We had Malky as manager in the premier league who wasted the massive money he was given. Credit to him he took us up but he wasn’t a good manager. Finished on 87 points so second half of the season was not good at all. That would have left us 5th on that table above.
A better manager would have
A) had us better prepared for the premier league with the money they got to spend in the championship
B) spent the considerable money after promotion better

Never in the bottom three under Malky and results only went sour when Tan & Co were on his back.
Malky brought the money in.
Funny they employed Ole and Cost City relegation and £130mill .

Neil if you are going to try and defend your argument try and give yourself some credit so people can say you have a point. For the record without Derby getting their points deductions we would have been in the bottom three under McCarthy.
