Not doing himself any favours by saying that Mick is lying or that his staff aren't doing their jobs.

Everywhere I have work if the doctor tells me I can't go back to work then its been up to me to tell the boss. Are our footballers pampered that much these days?

Frankly, in any other business he would have been bombed out by now. Not because of he's always injured or sick but simply on the Human Resources grounds that the organisation is "unable to sustain his level of absence". This is a case that would be well worth the club defending at an Employment Tribunal if it came to it !!!!!!

Tomlin has done it to six previous clubs and for me 30 plus starts in 4 yrs for Cardiff is Def not good enough .

Every mans got a right to defend himself but going after MM and the staff... not clever.

For his own sake, I hope Tomlin has been prudent with the money he's earned from football and has managed to save a fair amount, because he doesn't have the work ethic to be successful in any other line of business outside of football. It could surely only be something outside of football, because let's face it, he could never command the respect of anyone within the game as an assistant/manager/coach or whatever.
I mean, who would ever look up to a former player who was always out of condition and a perennial 'Sicknote!!

personally i would bite the bullet and not include him at all just accept we have to pay him every week and leave him to it....why should our club give him any opportunity to impress other clubs no matter how fit he becomes by January ..

He won’t play all season. The man is a liability! Bad attitude and no work ethic, he will suffer badly once he hangs up his boots.

Nobody will pay a fee for him and he won't leave on a free because nobody else will give him the wages he's on. For the same reason, he won't agree to a mutual termination of his contract.

If we terminated his contract, we'd have to pay his full amount in wages anyway.

So we're stuck with him unfortunately.


Thankfully he's out of contract next summer and I don't think even the committee are stupid enough to give him a new one.

I find it laughable that some think this work shy shithouse is the answer. He’s never put a full shift in unless he’s taking pics of his lambo or the resort he’s staying at in Dubai.
