Roger Johnson.

Wore his heart on his sleve and always done his best here at City, which is what we ask for. Was heartbroken when he left for Brum, but since I've always looked out for Brum's results and to see how Rog is doing. The other week when he scored and it came up on the Phone, I screamed "YES!!". That man deserves every good thing he gets, should have been in South Africa in the summer.

My late father said John Charles was the best centre forward AND the best centre half in the world at his peak.
My favourite player ever was Adrian Alston. Does anyone remember him almost scoring against Brighton from the half way line? It was straight from the kick off and the game was on MOTD, but the game ended 0-0. He had a great partnership with Tony Evans, but in those days centre halves could kick lumps out of opponents and he wasn`t really suited to that type of game.

Kav and I always had a soft spot for Peter Sayer after scoring "that goal" v Spurs.

Since I've been watching the City (since the late 80's) I'd say the best I've seen is Aarron Ramsey ... if only he played from the start at the FA Cup Final ....

I can remember Adrian Alston , he and Tony Evans were my favourite strike duo .Ian Gibson , Dave Bennett ,Stant ,Kavanagh and Roger Johnson were all up there for me, but , even though it was for a short period Robin Friday will take some beating .
